Description: We are a casual Thai restaurant and bar. We serve Thai, Chinese, Sushi, Burgers, Salads. From the bar you can get coffee, tea, smoothies, refreshments, beers, drinks, cocktails. We also show sporting events on the TV. We do take out and deliveries as well. We also have music events from time to time. We are making changes in 2015 in our service and we throw away the one use plates and cutlery. And the place is not going to be self service any more for the eat-in customers. We open again on the 15th January 2015 and we hope to see you all there!!

“Must visit!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2014

Our hotel staff recommended this place. We came here twice during our stay. The food is amongst the best we have had...the green Thai curry cannot be missed! The staff are very friendly and do their best to make you comfortable. The cocktails are good as well, with the bartender paying attention to your preferences. Would say its a must visit during stay at Santorini!

“Great Thai food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 25, 2014

Although we loved all the Greek dishes in Oia we did fancy a change. This restaurant was great. The food was really tasty and authentic Thai. The green and red curry were excellent. The restaurant was more of a bar so we got a takeaway. The staff were ok but not very friendly though.

“Friendly people, great Thai food!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 25, 2014

Having grown weary of the traditional Greek taverna food, and being rather too shabby to walk in to one of the tonier places in Oia, we were delighted to stumble upon Paradox. It is only a few months old, and they are making a great job of serving good, inexpensive Thai food. I agree that they need to lose the paper plates and plastic utensils. That said, their spring rolls are some of the best we've had (and we eat a lot of Thai food), and their ginger sauce is also terrific. Their curry has just a little heat--not fiery--pleasant and flavorful. Definitely order a cocktail when you go--don't know where these islanders learned to make a Mojito, but this was a great one. We hope that when we next visit Santorini, we find them with lovely china and an ocean view. Until then, they are still worth a visit!

First of all I want to thank you for such great review. We, at Paradox, really appreciate it.
My only comment is about the plastic plates.
Its like you said, we have inexpensive food....what most people don't see is that if I bring china and have proper service, then it will stop being inexpensive...
I don't know what everyone prefers......cheap but good quality food with disposable cutlery and plates OR china, still good quality food, but more expensive???
For example if a main dish is x euros now, it will be x plus 3. I will have to employ 2 more persons in the restaurant for sure...
And then I think that I will be classed as expensive restaurant because no one will think that the ingredients are expensive for Asian cuisine etc etc...
I hope I am making my self understood...
This comment is not only for you, but for others to see also because i had a few people mentioning plates etc etc..
Anyway...I want to thank you again for a nice review!!!
Take care!

“Great Thai food!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2014

Who knew that we would find awesome Thai food on a small Greek Island! This thai food is great, and we've even been to Thailand, and eat thai food on a regular basis and think so. Now, it's Greece, so it is not very spicy food, but you can add in chili flakes as needed. This was also one of our cheapest meals in Greece, so definitely affordable.

Now caveat, this is not a fancy, upscale restaurant. It is more like takeaway food that you can eat in a bar/club type atmosphere, so go in with the right expectations.

By the way, they make an awesome, affordable freddo cappucino.
