My wife and I came to Santorini and picked Pezoules for part of our honeymoon trip. We decided this based on the many positive reviews we found on this website and couldn't have picked a better place. The hotel and its staff, including Mr. Demetris and his family, were friendly and attentive. We were very early for our check in time, however Mr. Demetris went out of his way to make us very comfortable and fed, something I have not experienced before. We stayed in the cave house with the jacuzzi and were greeted with a bottle of champagne and dessert (some type of tasty sweet bread with raisins) upon settling into our room. The staff was very helpful in regards of what to do on the island, and service inside the hotel was prompt and efficient. The room itself was kept immaculate, and had awe inspiring views of the caldera. The hotel is centrally located in Oia, yet stays quiet even around the bustling town which is a two minute (if that) walk away to the busy streets. The breakfast was delicious and delivered every morning to our room, or you could have it at the infinity pool overlooking the Agean sea. Overall this was an amazing stay and I know for certain I will return.

Pezoules is an exquisite place for a summer stay, ideal to chill out and enjoy the amazing view offered by all balconies! The rooms are very beautiful and welcome, white and blue with great furniture and their terrasses are so arranged that you actually enjoy high privacy and feel you are alone with the sea!
The pool is also a travel to infinity and is perfect to spend there many hours admiring the view of the whole caldera!
The owners are extremely warm and friendly, always at your disposal with a great smile to help you with anything you need. Especially the food of mirela is really amazing! Freshly cooked, with local greek ingredients and a special something all the time that makes the dish unique, even if you ve tried it before!
The whole stay is exclusive, you are left with a great feeling of joy and peacefulness and therefore I definitely suggest to anyone to spend some memorable time at pezoules!

Pezoules is a brand new family-owned boutique hotel perched up on the cliffs of Oia, which provides you with a breathtaking view, an outstanding and friendly service, delicious food and affordable luxury by all means.
Pezoules is smartly designed. Cave rooms are built one over the other at different levels, and each room is featured with a private balcony and a great panoramic view (180 deg) of the Caldera, giving the sense that this was made exclusively for you. I stayed in the most private room, Levanda, which is at the lower part of the hotel and above the Caldera, so I could hear the waves of the sea. Nothing can describe the view, the colour and the aura of the volcanic landscape. Levanta was naturally cool, spacious and elegantly decorated. It contained a bedroom with incredibly comfortable bed and pillows, a sitting area with a built sofa, a small kitchen, a well stocked mini bar in the fridge, and an incomparable bathroom with view in Caldera!!! It also received a very good WiFi signal all day long.
The pool offers you an infinite view of the Caldera creating the illusion that you hovering somewhere between the sky and the sea. I could stay hours hanging over its edge and gazing out, as this was one of the most exceptional experience of my life.
The most powerful part of Pezoules is the friendliness and the respectfulness of the owners (Dimitris and Mirella) as well as the welcoming staff (Ioli, Nikolas and Valentino). All of them are dedicated to offer you a discreet, cosy atmosphere and a luxurious stay. The service was incredible and the food was excellent. Dimitris is a natural talent as a host. He is very helpful and informative in recommending restaurants and things to do in Santorini. Mirella prepares home made yet chef-like food using fresh, organic ingredients. You worth Michelin stars. Bravo Mirella! (All your recipes were unique, but I am really dreaming your cheese pies and your bread.) Nicolas and Valentino were always on hand for drinks, food and luggage when needed, and Ioli was always happy to make any arrangements.
All in all, I think that Pezoules is first class not only for the infrastructure but because of the service and friendliness. I wish Dimitris and Mirella every success for the future. I will certainly be back soon. Thank you.

Have stayed in this hotel due to some problem with my reservation with another hotel and they shifted me here. It is almost the most cozy and really awesome with a nice white n super clean room. The view was awesome with your own balcony shared with next door for my case. The pool was just nice with excellent view. The staff was great n friendly and the best part is its location which is almost in the central of oia. Loved it! Had posted photos I took which is exactly what I stayed in.

This was an excellent choice for our accommodation in the beautiful island of Santorini! We stayed in Valeriana room for 5 nights and would definitely stay there again. Mr Demetris and his daughter Ioli were extremely helpful and friendly at all times, and made our experience in Santorini even better with their suggestions. From our room, we had a great view of Caldera and the volcano, and were just few minutes away from the crowded streets of Oia with many shops and restaurants, but without this place being noisy at all. The rooms were well cleaned and the breakfast tasty. Don't miss the homemade breads and cheese pies made by Mrs Mirella. The pool was always clean and from there you could also enjoy the stunning views of Caldera, maybe one of the best in the whole island.

Iand my hubby spent 2 nights at pezoules in august on our vacation to santorini. This place is beautiful with amazing view and service. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. They helped us make all reservations for dinners n cruises as well as gave us awesome recommendations on places to see in santorini....this place is right on the cliffs of oia with perfect caldera view ....must go and stay place!

View: As good as it can get.

Rooms: Regardless of which room you stay in, each one has an amazing view.

Staff: Very Friendly staff. Owners (Mr. Dmitry and his daughter Ioli) are the friendliest and most helpful of hotel owners. They recommended us all the good places in Oai and Santorini and made reservations for every thing for us (sunset cruise, dinners, taxies etc) and we loved all the places recommended by them.

At the beginning of August, my wife and I managed to escape for 4 days during our annual summer week visit to Greece to spend some time alone in Santorini. It was a last minute trip and we got the recommendation to stay at Pezoules from a family friend who spends his summers in Oia. And what a truly special place it was! Pezoules is a small (6 rooms) boutique hotel, perched up on the rock in Oia. Our room had a cozy, private balcony with breathtaking unobstructed views of the Caldera. One can literally spend the entire day out there, admiring the ever changing colors of the land and water as the sun travels from behind the island on the left until it sets behind the far end of Oia on the right. From the early hours of the morning (thank you, jetlag!), to the bright Aegean midday sun, to the majestic colors of the sunset and into the evening with shimmering lights of Fira in a distance.

Unlike some of the other bigger and insanely expensive luxury hotels around it that seem overrun by armies of maids buzzing around the rooms, Pezoules is operated by the owner Dimitri, his wife Mirella and a couple of extremely nice young staff. Always smiling and eager to help, from making recommendations and reservations for some of the best non-touristy restaurants on the island, to providing suggestions for places to visit and things to see, they were always around to make sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. And speaking of food, the phenomenal breakfast (including traditional greek yogurt, fresh baked bread, cheese pie drizzled with honey and freshly squeezed juice) prepared on the premises every morning by Mirella that we enjoyed in the privacy of your own balcony was one of the highlights of our stay. As were the early evening cocktails!

Pezoules was built over the course of the last five winters (construction in Santorini stops early in the spring and resumes late in the fall to avoid disturbing the tourist season) and apparently this is the first summer that the hotel is in full operation. The attention to detail in both the rooms and the common areas is truly impressive by any standard. Gentle curves and tasteful architectural details adorn every space. It's pretty obvious that the owners took as much pride in building the space as they take running it. Our room was built in a old "cave", a hole dug out on the side of the steep hill. It was spacious with a king size bed, a comfortable sitting area, a minbar and fridge tastefully hidden behind closet doors, and a unique bathroom carved into the rock without a single sharp corner. The room was simply but tastefully decorated and included top quality linens, bedding, pillows, soft towels and bathrobes. And of course with a shutters open, a breathtaking view of the "big blue" without even getting out of the bed.

If you are looking for a place to completely unwind in a setting with unmatched beauty, Oia and Pezoules should be at the top of your list.
