“It was a long hot walk!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 24, 2013

We walked down The donkey route to the harbour and then up and over to the beach at Amoudi. The beach was ok if you don't mind black pebbles and a rocky entry to the sea. I found getting inane out of the sea painful underfoot without proper sea shoes. The bar was great, lovely Atmosphere and live music and good tapas.

“Very Nice SunSet”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 24, 2013

Come to this place if you want to:
1. enjoy the sunset on the Aegean sea (ships rolling and sailing, sea colors, sun going down to sea)
2. have a different feeling of the SunSet in Santorini

“Nice small bay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 24, 2013

To tell the truth i was expecting a small beach, but wasn't sand at all. Only some rock were to leave cloths and nothing more. Anyway if you are one of them that visit Santorini for exploring not only for beach and sun than this is a very nice place to visit. Dont plan all the day to be there, just a couple of hours are Ok.

“Nice colors”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 16, 2013

Beautiful Colors...worth a visit. One can drive down to the bay which is very convenient if you have a car or a bike. The view of the red cliff against the different shades of blue is mesmerizing.

“interesting walk, disappointing bay”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2013

We thought the Bay would have a few options for eating/drinking but there's only a couple of places and seemed a bit abandoned. Although we didn't try it, it could be a good place to get fresh grilled fish, it did look good sitting on the grill. If you like walking and making a bit of an effort, the walk down is good, there are horses that you can get to move up and down but walking seemed quite enjoyable, if a bit hard on the legs!
