“Worth the walk down and up!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2011

My husband and I hiked from Imerovigli to Oia and enjoyed lunch at Tis Pandoras per the recommendation of another Trip Advisor. It happened to be one of our favorite days. Lunch was great – we had a salad and shared some snapper. The fish was perfectly prepared and served. While not a cheap meal, it was definitely one we will always remember. Just don’t eat too much – it is quite a walk back up to the main part of town.

“Great location, even better food!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2011

This place is worth the over 300 steps descent through the the minefields of donkey poop! You will not be disappointed by the charming and efficient staff. The appetizers are out of this world and the seafood excellently prepared. If I ever get the opportunity to come back to Santorini, I will be back at the same table enjoying not only the food but a quick shot of Raki with our host.

“No arguments here, best meal we've had in Greece”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 4, 2011

Delightful meal, service is not only excellent, but given with smiles and much concern about our satisfaction. We ordered two appetizers, which were outstanding. One was eggplant smothered in mozarella, garlic tomato sauce and Parmesan, while the other was baked feta with garlic and hot peppers. We knew we were in for treat the moment we dove into them. My wife ordered fresh fish suggested by the owner, which was excellent, while he prepared a large dish of lobster spaghetti, including two small crabs, for myself. Unfortunately, I didn't care much for the crabs, and tried to hide them underneath the lobster shell, so as not to insult him, but, when he found them, he felt so bad that he gave us free dessert. He also gave us two glasses of raki, a strong Greek liqueur. Finally, the cappuccinos were the best we have ever had! We were so pleased, in fact, that we are going back again tonight!

“great food and waterside dining”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 27, 2011

We walked down the 242 steps to Ammoudi Bay and chose Pandoras for its imaginative menu. We sat right next to the water in this sparkling bay below Oia, with an everchanging panorama of fishing boats and ferries.

It was our last day in Santorini and a we enjoyed a laid back lunch with fine food and wine. We chose a Greek salad (of course) to accompany the mandatory dips and were wise to only order as far as the main course, because it was a large serve. We chose the spaghetti marinara (actually it was linguini), with generous lashings of prawns, mussels and fish - delicious.

The service was excellent.
