5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 4, 2013

It was a terrible day weather wise raining very heavily but the day brightened up for us as we discovered this lovely restaurant in a wonderful setting on the banks of the river.

We were given a very warm and friendly welcome and shown to our table. We chose the 32 euro menu, 4 courses although there were other options available. We were not disappointed, choice of 3 starters, 4 mains, 3 cheese and three desserts. The table settings, cutlery and crockery were top class together with the pleasant and friendly service. The food was of a very high standard and probably the best so far this holiday.

We loved it so much we have booked again for this weekend, we asked for a table outside on the terrace in case we get luckier with the weather.

Well done Tres bon - merci

This was the start point of our 1 week inn to inn walking trip, and it couldn't have been better. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the innkeepers very friendly and helpful, and the location extraordinarily beautiful right on the river. The food in the restaurant was amongst our favorite in the region. The hotel packed us a picnic for our walk that was a welcome feast.

I have a home near to Beaulieu S Dordogne and I use this restaurant all the time. Friendly owners and staff. Great food and idyllic setting almost on the river. The food is always to a high standard and the wine list is comprehensive.

We stayed here on our way to the north of Spain. We had 3 rooms, all very spacious, clean and nicely decorated. Dinner in the restaurant was exquisite and the breakfast copious!
Only thing that did not work was the wireless network. We received a code to login, but were not able to connect. But hey, who needs internet on holiday :)

We arrived at this hotel after a very long day and a crazy drive at 1am....long after check in time! The whole village and hotel were in darkness and we resigned ourselves to sleeping in the car. My boyfriend reluctantly decided to call the hotel on the off chance of an answer and the owner (I presume) picked up immediately and with no hesitation came down to let us in, he even carried our bags up the stairs for us at that late hour. The room was stunning, clean, beautifully decorated and we got a fantastic well needed sleep in this peaceful village. When we woke in the morning we discovered not only was this a lovely hotel but the setting was idyllic next to a calm lake. There also seemed to be no problem with our very early check out, something we struggled with in a couple of smaller places. Our only regret was that this was only a stop off point and we didn't get to see more of the hotel or area....we have decided we will make the effort to visit again and will be staying at Les Flots Bleus.

We had a nice room and bathroom, lovely comfortable bed (king) so great nights sleep. Bathroom recently renovated and room to move around (unusual in these types of places!). It's right on the river, great views and ambience and dinner exceeded our expectations and very reasonably priced. Since dinner was so good we rather expexted a decent breakfast but it was very ordinary which is a shame - it's not difficult in France to find excellent bread, good butter, qood quality jam and coffee. If they'd had that it would have scored an excellent from us! No matter, we'll go back and go out for breakfast next time

Throughly enjoyed our one night stopover. A very friendly hotel with wonderful views over the Dordogne in this pretty little town. The food in the restaurant was superb, and how refreshing to see a thoughtful children's menu containing real food - a choice of salmon or duck served with noodles and sweet potato purée. Delicious. Not a chicken nugget or chip in sight. My steak was also cooked to perfection.
