Paradise pines was a joy for or 8 year old, and while the bathrooms were clean, and showers were hot, and yes, all the fun activities we 40 something's remember from our jellystone years and now introducing to our children were spot on, the one thing you want to have happen as a paying customer to any establishment is some kind courtesy, you will not find at Paradise Pines. From my first phone call to reserve our site, I was greeted with nothing short of someone with a negative attitude, someone jaded by the business world and absent of any joy to have my business and payment. This was confirmed again and again everytime my family and I would roll into their camp store, no smiles, and all bad attitudes, the nicest people around the grounds were the maintenance staff, especially Dan from Texas, who captured the spirit of Jellystone with his great attitude and happy smile for the kids as our train conductor. Upon our checking out, we again were greeted to "the thanks for nothing, gimme your money and get out of my hair attitude" we experienced from our check in day, only this time upon our last day at check out, a teenage/college student was being remprimanded for not having a braclet while trying to visit her parents who already had a site and were waiting for their daughters arrival, they gave her such attitude and embarrased her in front of all of us, to the point that the girl was sobbing on the phone asking her father to please meet her to help her gain access to seeing them at the site, terrible way to treat a paying customers loved one, shame on the owners and the higher ups at Paradise Pines, who apparently lost
their way and forgot that the customer should be made to feel welcome and appreciated throughout their entire visit so they have the urge to be a repeat customer. All the Jellystones myself and my family stayed at when I was a kid were all great up until this one. I will never set foot on Paradise Pines soil ever again thanks to the terrible customer service that I and some of the other
guests also experienced, I will also be consulting Jellystone officials who too, would not approve of such attitudes at one of their establishments.
