Stayed there for 2 nights on a deal just prior to Xmas '12. Room was no different than expected. Clean sheets, nice bed & pillows. A/C & heater worked fine. It took a bit of time to get hot water. For the low prices, even on a regular rate, it's a bargain.

The hotel generally is a bit dated but much nicer than most of the motels in the Shopping areas. Saw a few stupid reviewers complain about 'popcorn ceilings'. Seriously, it matters what the ceiling looks like?? They were doing renovations when we were there but we heard no noise or had any problems related to the work.

Reception was wonderful. I asked for any specials they might know about for shopping deals and they gave me 20 pages of reprints on deals. Nothing that I didn't know about already but it was a nice gesture. You also get a great view of the Rainbow Bridge and can see how backed up they are if you want to go across.

Would return if in the area.

Room Tip: Higher up is a better view.

We decided to stop at Niagara on our way to our family's house for Thanksgiving, so we chose this hotel. Booking online at least a week in advance saved us money, and we asked for a room with a view. And what a view! We were on the 7th floor facing the Canadian skyline, and it was a beautiful sight at night. Even the next morning I could barely stop looking out the window as I watched the tourist helicopter land and depart. We were only two blocks from American and Bridal Falls, so we didn't have to pay to park near the Falls. Instead, we walked! The rooms were spacious, and our room had some pictures of the Falls with some history on them. We could have closed the shades, but instead, we closed only the see-through curtains so we could see the lights. We could see the mist coming up from the Falls, and it was beautiful! I met a man on the elevator the next morning who said he'd paid $800 for two nights for a family of four on the Canadian side, and he said the service there was lousy. The service here was fine. Breakfast didn't come with the room, but there's a Denny's on location where you can eat 24/7. We bought two breakfast meals and split them between the five of us. We were all full! It was a great experience, and we're already planning our next trip next fall (maybe in October before the Maid of the Mist closes)!

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing Canada. The 7th floor is great!
