“Great room”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 28, 2012

We stayed for 2 nights in the Brighton room which is in the newly refurbished annex. The room is bright, quiet, clean with a very comfortable king size bed and large bathroom. The cheese and wine were a nice touch. We had a good view of the rapids from the window.
Breakfast was delicious. We also ate in one night and it was very good value.
The Inn part of the Hotel needs some upgrading - get rid of the plastic plants in the dining room.
We couldn't fault the courtesy and helpfulness of the staff.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view of the rapids.

My husband and I spent the weekend and were VERY happy with everything. The manager walked us to the room, pointed out the highlights, then concluded showing the sparkling wine and cheese plate in the fridge -- complimentary! The staff was gracious, attentive, friendly, a rare find these days! The FREE breakfast was delicious, the dinner incredible! Walk across the street and you have the rapids leading to the American Falls, just a short walk away! Everything was excellent and we will be back!

The suite was really beautiful with historic pieces that decorate the rooms throughout. Classical music played as you entered the room. Individual chocolates were waiting for you as you entered. Cheese and Champaigne in refrigerator was a nice touch. Freshly baked cookies were given to us at checkout and they were delicious. View of Canada and Niagara River was fabulous and hearing the rapids from outside your window was soothing. Only negative to mention was the bedroom faced up to the back parking lot, and there are dumpsters parked in the rear of the parking lots which leads to an attraction of seagulls because there are no lids on the trash bins. The birds will wake you up early with thier Squawking. Ask for a bedroom that faces river if you do not want to hear this.

We stayed in the Highland Suite and enjoyed it very much. The suite was about 850 sq. ft.,
which included a large living room with fireplace, a large kitchen with refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave oven, and the place was spotless. The canopied bed was very comfortable and added a very nice touch to our stay. The complimentary breakfast was excellent as was our
16 oz prime rib dinners in their restaurant and was reasonably priced as was the wine. . The Inn overlooks the Niagara river rapids and is a short walk to the Falls and Seneca Niagara Casino.

Room Tip: There are no elevators, so depending on your age and fitness, ask what level your suite or room is o...

My wife and i spent a night here recently and were very pleased with the room, the attentiveness of the staff. The view of the Upper Falls we had was nice as well. The complimentary champagne, cheese plate was a pleasant suprise. We had a great breakfast and the cookies upon departure were a nice touch. A great place to stay even if it were not right next to Niagra Falls. We have been here before ;both as a place for a great lunch on a day trip to this area and when we stayed overnight as well.

My fiancée and I spent an evening at the Red Coach Inn and were definitely pleased with it. The view of the falls and Ontario side skyline were superb, the complimentary (or included, not sure) champagne and cheese was excellent, the breakfast was delicious and the freshly-baked cookies on check-out were a nice touch. We've been to hotels on the Canadian side before, but next time we're heading to Niagara we'll cross over to stay here again.

Room Tip: Not sure about the other rooms, but we had the Brighton room and the view is incredible from that on...

Purchased a Living Social voucher for a 2 night stay and so glad I did! Stayed in the Newcastle room with 2 Queen Beds and jacuzzi tub. Wasn't sure what to expect since it was my first stay in a Bed and Breakfast. Was very homey without having the feeling that your parents or little brother might burst in at any moment. Location is great (for the American side) and the staff was super friendly and accommodating. The location was very convenient (basically right next to the falls) and seemed safe (don't venture out too far though). My only complaint is that there isn't more to do on the American side, which has nothing to do with this establishment or their service. Would definitely stay here again!!! Shout out to Tom as well as Juan. Great service and excellent vodka tonics! :-)
