“Worst inn ever”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 26, 2013 via mobile

What do you expect for an Inn? Convenience? Relatively lower price? Coziness? Nice breakfast? Helpful front desk? Cleanness? If you want so much, you're totally an idealist. You CANNOT find any here!
It's nearly 450/2 nights. The crawling wifi will bring you back to 90s. It's 3-min walking trip from the front dest to our room; no elevator, no short cut. Why not parking next to the side door? Brilliant, the side door opens only from inside! You don't have much choice in bf room, unless long-kept food is considerable for you. The front desk will never pick up a inner line phone call, though they say "you can dial 0 for ant help". Oh, sorry, almost forgot that a girl did pick up once and said" front desk, please hold." And then I listened to an automatic male voice speaking nonsense about 3 mins... Just when I was typing my second sentence on bed, a huge ant came across playing on my leg!
Although they have an indoor pool, you're never gonna use it.
Two points for the good location: 12 mins driving to the falls and 1 mile away from De Dee's Dairy, the best ice cream.
A tip for who's visiting Niagara: find a place at Canada side.

easy check-in, easy to use appliances, great king size bed. Air fan/cooling intense but effective. Bathroom had an overwhelming sour disinfectant odor which the fan and a bit of perfume took care of. Location was closet to local restaurants, stores and gas station(for cheaper gas).

Thank you very much for your review! I apologize for the harshness of our commercial cleaners- unfortunately they are very odorous but are necessary in preventing the growth of bacteria.

Sincerely,

I booked a "last minute" long weekend trip for the family, and I chose this hotel because they had availability and it was ranked #3 on Tripadvisor. I was a little concerned about the hotel being 7 miles away from the Falls, because I wanted to be as close as possible to the falls. We had a great trip, and the Best Western was the perfect launching pad for all our daily adventures.

The hotel staff was courteous and accommodating. They gave good advice, great directions, and recommended local favorites when it came to the question of restaurants and attractions. They always took the time to answer all my questions and give clear directions with a smile. The Hotel itself was very clean, and the kids loved the pool facility, which was also very clean. The beds were comfortable - a little soft according to my wife, but perfect for me. The breakfast which is included in the rate was very good and there was a lot to choose from. There is also wireless access, and a convenient business center with two computers and internet access.

As for the location, the hotel is about 5 minutes away from the falls, which are very easy to get to from there. If you are sightseeing and you get an early start as I like to, parking in town was not an issue at all. We parked in the state park ($10 or free if you have the empire passport: http://nysparks.com/admission/empire-passport/) and right across the street is the downtown area of Niagara falls. If you keep your receipt you can drive to other attractions and come back without having to pay again.

We went for a three night stay while attending the Hydroplane races in North Tonawanda a place we had been to before and decided to stay at the Best Western Summit Inn. We never expected to have breakfast at the Hotel but after the first day we decided to have breakfast every morning at the hotel something we rarely do as most are very basic this was much better with scrambled eggs and sausages waffles fresh fruit and more. You will not be sorry you picked this hotel for your stay.

My family and I just stayed there for 3 nights. The hotel was very clean, and we enjoyed our stay. The pool was nice, we had a lot of time in it to ourselves. Not much in the area attraction wise, but it is a really quick drive to the falls. Tons of restaurants and shopping about a mile down the road. The complementary breakfast was enjoyed by all. We would stay again if we came back to the area.

We stayed at Best Western Summit through a United Airlines vacation package. We loved our room and the staff was friendly and helpful with directions, etc. The breakfast was wonderful and offered everything we could want. The breakfast room was perfectly clean and everything was refilled promptly, even thought it was packed full of people. It was an ideal location since it was only six miles from Niagara Falls and gave us a chance to get away from the crowd and relax at night. It was a very relaxing and pleasant stay.

Room Tip: There is no elevator, so get on the first floor if that is a problem for you
