“AMAZING”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2014

Super clean, everyone is friendly and helpful. This park has so much to offer, either walk along the rapid falls, to see the Falls, go to three sister island. See the falls from two different views. I loved this park.

“Niagara Falls, American side”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2014

I love that they have left this side of the falls a park where you can walk and enjoy the Falls without tons of touristy attractions. Can't see the entire Falls from here but you can if you take the Maid of the Mist boat tour which is a must for any visitor. The trolley is a must to take as there is a lot of walking. Buy the Discovery Pass and do all the attractions.

“Great Way to Experience This Natural Wonder”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 24, 2014

This was my first time really exploring the US side of Niagara Falls. By comparison, I have made countless trips to the Canadian side.

From my perspective, the big difference between the US and Canada side is the US side is more of a park vs. the Canadian side is more of theme park. Both offer their advantages, but you can't really do one and assume the other will be the same. Of course there is some duplication such as the Maid of the Mist and the movie theatre.

The amount of open parkland right next to the falls really struck me as different from the Canadian side. You could easily find a quiet place to picnic or relax on the US side (especially when you cross the bridge over the river/rapids.

We purchased the Experience Pass that included the five main attractions (Cave of the Winds, Maid of the Mist, Theatre, Gorge Discovery and Aquarium). It provided a great value and as an added bonus we realized you could use your tickets any time during the season. Something to consider if you plan to visit more than once in the summer.

The Cave of the Winds experience really is incredible. Being able to walk around and literally touch the falls is something that will be hard to forget. And, for the price it's a real bargain. You even get to keep the sandals!

The Gorge Discovery Centre was a little outdated. Kids might enjoy the "elevator" ride, but others may find the virtual experience a little underwhelming. The rock wall is still closed and has no signs of opening up.

The Aquarium is not huge, but is a nice stop as part of a full day at the falls. The gift shop is very reasonable.

We walked between most of the experiences (Caves, Theatre, Maid of the Mist, etc), but took the trolley to the Gorge and Aquarium. Be prepared for a hike up a steep pedestrian bridge from the Trolley stop at the Gorge to the Aquarium.
