“Literally the best B and B we have ever been to!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 17, 2013

Wow... what an amazing experience!! This is truly the best B and B that we have visited. Cassidy and Mitsunori are absolutely fabulous hosts--extremely attentive to the needs of those staying at their Inn, including making reservations and recommendations for places to eat, shop, visit, etc.

My very specific dietary needs were so thoughtfully addressed, even after I offered to provide all of my own food. Being able to eat a delicious gourmet breakfast in the gorgeous sun room while looking out over the river and listening to birds was such a treat.

The house is absolutely gorgeous and SPOTLESS. Lovely antiques adorn every room in the house and everything is so tastefully decorated.

The amenities provided more than exceeded my expectations... I have never felt so "at home" in a place that was not my own. From free Wi-Fi to a variety of coffee and teas, fruit and biscotti available at all hours, to a fully stocked bathroom... I could not have asked for anything more (nor could I have thought to!)

The price was VERY reasonable for such a beautiful place and such amazing hospitality. I would highly recommend the Hillcrest Inn to any couples needing to escape from their daily world on a romantic get-away!

Thank you so much for making our stay so enjoyable, Cassidy and Mistunori!

Room Tip: French Room is lovely!

My wife and I really enjoyed our brief but action filled visit to the Hillcrest Inn. We enjoyed visiting with the owner, and she even shared a bottle of her personal wine with us that afternoon. We had a beautifully decorated room called “The Master Suite”. The proprietor was attentive and met our every need. The Inn is located within a few blocks of the Niagara River-walk, and less than a half-mile to the Goat Island pedestrian bridge. The Niagara Falls mainland observation desk is a little more than a half-mile from the Inn. This is a great location.

Stayed here in September 2012 for 3 nights. Originally was only going to book for 2 nights, but so glad we booked the extra night. The attention from Cassidy and her staff was excellent. The room was clean, tidy and very cosy. Although the bathroom was small, that was not a distraction at all. The eating areas and common guest areas were again so fantastically decorated, it was a real joy to stay. The breakfasts that Cassidy prepares are out of this world. Not your run of the mill start to the day. They are creations in themselves. If I return to Niagara I would have no doubt that I would stay here again.

We snuck over to Niagara Falls from Buffalo for New Years Eve at the last minute, and were lucky enough to slip into the Hillcrest Inn due to a cancellation.
The French Room was tasteful and quaint, clean and cozy. We made friends with the other couple there, who graciously gave us 2 spare tickets to a show at the Rapids Theatre for that night. After the ball drop we all took a cab back to the Inn and popped open a bottle of champagne to toast the new year, enjoying cheese and snacks in a lovely room in the back overlooking the river. It was all a bit magical.
It was in this room that we had a delicious (although groggy) breakfast the following morning, with sun shining over the flowing river, the snow and ice sparkling in the distance. There was cranberry juice and orange juice, yummy chicken sausage to accommodate our dietary needs, an amazing omelet with fresh fruit on the side and great pancakes that we wished we could finish but were already too full to squeeze in. Tea and coffee and little chocolates and little oranges--these little touches made for a charming and truly extraordinary experience.
We didn't really know what to expect, having never tried B&B's before, but the hosts were so helpful and friendly! They told us what's in the area, what to do, where to go, where to catch a cab, with the utmost professionalism and hospitality.
I would love to go back to this place and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Room Tip: loved the french room, cozy and bright, private bathrooom

We were introduced to Hillcrest Inn by our brother. It was the loveliest stay during our trip. Though the room that we stayed has a very small bathroom, the room itself conveyed indescribable coziness. Cassidy and her husband are the most courteous and warm hosts. Her breakfast is always excellent. The place is spotless. We had breakfast on the patio overlooking to Niagara river. It was a wonderful experience. The living room was very beautiful with white sofa and fireplace. I can go on an on to describe but everything was just magical..... Thanks to Hillcrest

My satisfaction with their service started with the booking process; upon arrival we found that the house was beautiful, the location was amazing and the service was far beyond our expectations.

The rooms were charming and breakfast was a highlight everyday. Our hostesses were knowledgeable and personable, they made our stay just that much warmer and enjoyable.

The Hillcrest Inn is located within the State Park and all the attractions are in deed within walking distance, guest parking is readily available and free.

After reading the reviews in Tripadvisor, I tried to book the Hillcrest for 3 nights stay but only managed to book for 2 nights as Hillcrest was running full.

Everything that I have read and the photographs that were posted online were just as they were when we arrived a Hillcrest. Living in Singapore, we do not have a luxury of living in such a big house that is so tastefully decorated.

Cassidy is an excellent host, from booking of the room to our arrival, then our departure. She ensured that everything was well-organized prior to our arrival and the tips that she gave us upon our arrival was extremely useful. She has a warm personality and dishes out excellent breakfast. In addition, she setup coffee/tea corner in the house where we could have access to coffee/tea and yummy snacks/muffins!!! (esp the pumpkin ones) throughout the entire day.

We stayed in The French Room, we absolutely love it. Each evening when Cassidy turn down the room, she placed chocolates on the bed. It's simply so sweet for her to do that. There are alot of "little details" in the entire house that make you feel so at home.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in Hillcrest Inn very much. The room is comfortable and the host was excellent. We were lucky that we met an excellent couple who was staying in Hillcrest too (Hi John & Orlene, if you are reading it).
