Description: Arbor Hill of Naples, NY (Bristol Springs), is launching a new business called Brew & Brats. As the name implies, they will be offering crafted beers and specialty sausages (Brats – for Bratwurst).Arbor Hill has long produced wines and gourmet foods having distinct flavors signifying the heritage of the region. They now make 21 different wines and 47 gourmet food products. This new venture builds upon the historical significance of hops, an integral ingredient of beer. The Towns of Bristol and South Bristol were noted for their hop production – most of which supplied the McKechnie Brewery of Canandaigua in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s.The featured sausage is made with Arbor Hill Sherried Wine BBQ Sauce, which has been a staple at Arbor Hill almost since the winery opened in 1987 – due to the original formulation developed by Neapolitans Darryl Braun and Doug Preston.Arbor Hill has also partnered with Hartmann’s Sausage of Canandaigua to bring other exciting flavors and styles of sausage with taste and quality second to none. The new venue, the historic carriage barn behind the retail store, gives them the grilling capability and ample space for people to enjoy a great brat and beverages.Arbor Hill Winemaster, John Brahm, sums it up this way -- “There aren’t too many places in this world where the region’s natural attributes, the available expertise and the passion of accomplishment come together. We are fortunate to live in such a region.”

“great place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2012

We were vacationing in the finger lakes and had seen Brew and Brats online and emailed about what items they carried and got a response right away, quick service is usually a good sign and it was. We went on a Fri night and found the food and staff to be great. The owner came over to ask if everything was alright. We had a couple question on prices of their glasses and growlers, great prices. We then commented on how wonderful their Kraut was ,best I had ever had and almost as good as the sausages, brats we had. The Brew and Brats at Arbor Hill is just wonderful. I would love to go back anytime. Do you all deliver to Maryland? HA HA. 1 GIVE YOU ALL a 10. Thanks for everything.

Thank you for the raving reviews. It was my pleasure to sit and talk to you and your wife. That is what is so wonderful about this business - getting to know our customers. I remember you both quite well. Glad you enjoyed your time at Brew & Brats and when you are in our area again stop by.

“A good time was had by all!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 15, 2012

Our second trip to B&B, at the end of a long day of hiking. 6 adults, 4 young kids. There was entertainment, and every one us ended up singing and later dancing outside. Great story telling, fun music, friendly folks sharing our table. The food was fantastic!! Haven't had anything close to that Brat since a trip to Bavaria a few years ago!!! The roll, the sauerkraut~ WOW!!! Our only minor "complaint"~ it took almost an hour to get our food. While it was worth the wait, that's something maybe they could work on.
Cannot wait to go back!!

“Out of the ordinary.. GREAT little spot!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 13, 2012

We met another couple at Brew & Brats on a spur of the moment.. and we were VERY glad we took them up on the idea! Brew & Brats is set in the middle of a little hamlet that is a step back in time.. somewhat historical.. and so darn quaint, laid-back and relaxed.. it just shouldn't be missed! The staff are so friendly and likeable, for starters! The microbrews are delicious! And the brats? AWESOME!!! All served quickly and with a local smile.. they had a nice duo playing live music outside.. we sat outside under the cover of tents overhead.. totally comfortable and condusive to conversation.. and more beer!

Not a beer drinker? Not a problem! It was a hot evening when we were there, and I indulged in a "wine slushy" (I think that's what it was called.) You won't believe it, but it was delicious and sooo refreshing!

Brew and Brats has a new fan club.. US! We'll be back!

“Disappointed by service...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 23, 2012

Manager very sternly addressed our typically very well-behaved children only 5 minutes after we arrived...even made my son cry. She then proceeded to completely avoid eye contact with us for the entire two hours we were there. Why were we there for two hours? It took an hour for our entire party of 7 to receive our baskets of brats. They were also out of Chardonnay. A woman walked in with a dog tucked in her vest and the manager and wait staff were very happy to see her and her dog. REALLY?! Beer and brats were very good but place needs a new manager and some organization and a visit from a health inspector while their Vest Dog is in the house.

First, of all, thank you for your review we truely appreciate what our customers have to say - so we can improve the experience on your next visit.
Regarding you sons crying - the manager apologizes for you sons hurt feelings - but we do not condone children under the tables - both for your childrens safety and as a courtesy to our other customers.
Regarding the women with the vest dog. Yes we were happy to see her, as we are all returning guests. She is a regular and had not sported the vest/dog previously. We thank you for bringing this to our attention. Our guest has been alerted to our dog policy. "We are dog friendly - but require the pets to be kept outside at the outside eating area or thay can tether their dog adjacent to the porch area - seperated by barriers to the eating area".
We look forward to your next visit and believe the Brew & Brats staff can more efficiently satisfy your liking of our brew and brats. And should not run out of our popular Chardonnay wine.

“Good Craft Beer at a Winery? Why not!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 7, 2011

Behind the Arbor Hill Winery is Brew & Brats, which offers craft beer & a variety of brats cooked to order. The porter was one of the best I have had, very drinkable and not too heavy. Went well with a brat on a cool autumn day. The two guys serving were very personable. Brew & Brats is open seasonally; it closed the end of October, but I look forward to visiting again next year. The winery is open and has more than just wine to taste. We left with a bunch of wine jellies.
