“Hidden Natural Wonder!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2013 via mobile

This is my absolute favorite waterfall! It is just sitting there, buried on a downtown side street, quietly awaiting your discovery. It is beautiful, wild and doesn't cost a single penny to see.

“Beautiful falls in an unusual place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 23, 2013

This waterfall is literally in the back yards of a a couple of homes in Montour Falls, NY. You can park on the street about 200 feet from the falls and walk to a concrete wall to view it. It is also possible to view it from above on Mill Road but we did not find a good place to park there. The view from below is beautiful.

“Large falls, easy access”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 10, 2013 via mobile

This was a giant fall situated in the center of an adorable little town. Easy access to the falls, no need to hike for it. The park area is attractive and clean, there are also picnic tables should you choose to sit and picnic.
Near the street there is a box providing a free walking self-tour booklet of this quaint town, enabling ample opportunities for some picturesque historical buildings and sites.

“easy to find”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 9, 2013

The falls were easy to find, the area around the falls was very clean and they light the falls at night. These falls were very easy to get to as they are only about 50 yards from the street. If you enjoy the beauty and power of water this is one great area to visit. Watkins glen falls-beautiful, Buttermilk Falls-beautiful, Taughonock Falls-beautiful, Tremain park-beautiful. Some falls require strenuous walking but every time you turn a corner there's another beautiful sight. The real wonder is that this year there hasn't been very much rain but the 6 hour plus drive from the Brockton Ma. area was still very much worth it.

“A wonderful waterfall in the center of the village of Montour falls.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 18, 2013

Stop and enjoy this wonderful site. Breath in the clean country air.

Stroll through the Glorious T route and see the historical homes such as Cook Mansion, Montour House and the old Church.
