My wife and I were passing through Monticello for work and we passed this little place on our way in. Heading back out, it was lunch time and we decided to try it out. What a pleasant surprise. There aren't a whole lot of good options in the area, so we were a little nervous.
The place is small, and very crowded for lunch, but we were fortunate to be seated right away. The service was attentive and well above average. Our food came in a very timely manner even though it was so busy. The waitress was great!
I had the original gyro and a Greek salad and they were both some of the best we've had in the states. Very good Tzatziki sauce, and the gyro meat was perfectly done and nicely spiced. My wife had the moussaka, which was also done very nicely, with just the right spices.
We really believe you can't go wrong with this place. Enjoy!
