“Great family restaurant & inn”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2012 via mobile

We were in Montgomery for four nights with our three children (22,21&16) and we ate here twice - what more can I say - highly recommended, good food, good atmosphere & good service - Bernie, Brian & family serve up the lot!

“Good food, homey atmosphere”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2012

We found Ward's Bridge Inn to be the perfect spot for a family to eat after a day in the car. It has a relaxed, cozy atmosphere, a varied menu, and well-prepared, good food. We wandered in in shorts and T-shirts and fit in fine with the crowd, some in evening wear and some slacking like us. The service was attentive, the warm spinach salad delicious, and the choices varied enough for vegetarians and children. The restaurant was recommended by Carol and Bill at Borland House, which fyi is a great place to stay if you need a cozy retreat in Montgomery.

“Pricey but friendly”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 23, 2012

We found the food here ordinary and over-priced, although the portions are huge.

“Great for lunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 11, 2012

I've been to this restaurant for lunch three times recently. Each time we sat in the back glassed-in patio area. Their food was excellent and reasonably priced, and the service was very good. I'd recommend trying one of their specials. Every one we've tried has been excellent. Today I had a lovely salad with gorgonzola cheese and grilled shrimp for $12. And their burgers are the best I think I've ever had.

“It's been a long time”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2012

Friends suggested we meet there, so we joined them a tiny bit hesitantly. Last time we went was when it first changed ownership back to WBI (after being CB Driscoll's) and we weren't totally impressed as the food was pricey for what you got and some of it seems pre-fab.

This time they hit the mark! We were a group of 9 and service was on point. Other than some very watered down cabernet sauvignon by the glass, everything was great. Sirloin tips (which were much bigger than just tips- more like large cubes!) with mashed potatoes and onion strings... yum! Others ordered pasta, steak, salads... all delicious. Unfortunately no room for dessert. Maybe next time!
