From early morning until wee hours of the morning cross eyed clam is always at your service. The waitress Stephanie was one of the most pleasant young ladies I have ever met. The cook came out to make sure all was ok and it most definately was. The portions of food were more than you could imagine. This is a must while in Montauk.

Let me tell you. Came back 2x for the new England clam chowder...but had 2woman who couldn't sit on the high stools the staff went next door got two low tables and chairs...had muscles casino...amazing...the staff took the time to chat with us...fried clams with the bellys....so unusual. And great....make it a place to visit for casual dining....

I was so excited to try this place based on the reviews. However, I was left disappointed. The night we went was fairly quiet, three tables and some people at the bar. Based on the amount of people there, the service was slow. My husband's water stood empty as the waitress passed by several times, finally when we asked her for more, she grabs the pitcher and puts it on our table. When it was time to leave, it was literally about 10-15 minutes before she brought the credit card slip out to sign. I had the grilled shrimp platter which the shrimp were good but the broccoli was over cooked. My husband had the lobster ravioli for $24, although it was good there was not enough of it. My husband (a fit, 6 ft man) was left hungry and we ended up getting more food when we left. It would have been nice if soup or salad came with the meal. Disappointed.

This was supposed to be THE seafood meal for our family reunion.
My little grandchildren ordered the mac and cheese. It was CLEARLY out of the blue box.
My elderly mother had ordered the Lobster Mac and Cheese and it was the same dish. . . so we asked for a replacement.

The steamers tasted OFF. A few of us had an "off" tasting clam and did not eat any more.
The fried clams were completely dry and overcooked. . . not even a shred of clam flavor.

We told our server that we were very unhappy with our meals and she apologized and told the chef/owner. He sent his card out and told the server to let us know that when we return, "he'll take care of us". WHAT??? How about "taking care of us" right then and there?
We will NOT be returning for reruns.

Here's the kicker... ten minutes after leaving the restaurant, my son in law pulled over to the side of the road and got sick.
