Getting to the garden was a bit of a challenge (our iPhone routed us from the south where the road is closed - beware of this; you must enter off RT44), but it was worth it once we arrived. We were warned by the gentleman in the parking area that using a stroller (even a jogging stroller) is challenging. He was not kidding, but it was worth it. Many of the interesting features are set back from the main loop, so make the effort to climb up into the side trails. Each turn revealed a new surprise - a hidden terrace, a stone sculpture set in a niche, etc. Quite a pleasant walk around the lake. Just leave the stroller in the car.
