“Fall Weekend in New York”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2012

This is a charming, recently restored inn. My room was spacious and very comfortable. Don, the manager, was gracious and cared for all my needs. The inn is located just outside of town and a 15 minute drive from Sandanona.

Just amazing. The rooms are so clean. His hospitality comes first among the hundreds of other things he does behind the scene. The property is beautiful. The house is well maintained and decorated. Wish we could stayed longer. Don is a great host!

Rooms are spacious, clean and meticulously decorated, including fresh flowers!! Beautiful surroundings, serene, very inviting atmosphere. Not sure which was better - the room or the breakfast - or maybe the homemade banana bread!! And last but certainly not least, Don, the owner, who truly makes you feel like you're at home. This is the place to go for a week, a weekend, or just one night away from it all. We will definitely return!!

An absolutely fabulous inn. Every detail was perfect, from decor to breakfast. It was absolutely immaculate. Don was wonderful....from his great breakfast to his warm, helpful hints. I highly recommend it!!!

This is a beautiful property just as it appears and the owner was extremely friendly and accommodating. Breakfast on the mornings we were there to eat was a feast. The little things you don't get in a hotel are there: plush towels, bathroom amenities, personal attention, etc. Decor was beautiful and the village nearby had great food and beautiful walks.

We loved the Millbrook Inn. I have no idea what room we stayed in, but it was large and beautiful with a big spacious bathroom. It was very quiet and, even though there were a number of other couples there, we felt like we were the only couple at the Inn. The room itself felt like it was brand new and very clean - there was no TV in the room but that was fine for us because we just lazed about. We watched TV in the common area at night.
The innkeeper, Don, was so nice and friendly and very knowledgeable about food (which we love!) and the area. Breakfast was great - hot entree and banana bread, cereals and fruits.
Millbrook itself is a lovely town, it's just a few miles away and there are many cute restaurants and shops.
All in all, a great value and I would definitely go back!

Room Tip: I think any room would be great!

We just returned from two nights at The Millbrook Inn while attending a local wedding. As others have so aptly described, Don's attention to elegant detail, generosity and luxury is evident throughout. What a great find!!!
