“Family Dinner Out”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 16, 2012

The prices are reasonable and the food is very good. Love their pizza. The atmosphere is very warm and everyone is very friendly. Condusive to a family dinner night out.

“Disappointing.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2012 via mobile

We were directed there by a local for "great Italian food”. I don't think so.
The service and hostess were quite pleasant and welcoming. The place is big and loud. It is sectioned off to make it appear cozier and the bar looked nice.
My gripe was the food. I ordered the lasagna, which was supposed to be bolognese style with bechemel sauce. After the food arrived, I wanted to go in the kitchen and show them how to make both; or at least have the cooks google the recipes so they could get a clue of what each is supposed to be. There was no bolognese sauce. It was spiced, browned meat between very thin spinach pasta, smothered in melted mozzarella, with some red sauce on one side and runny white sauce on the other. Everything tasted fine, but no way would I describe it as bolognese, bechemel, or even lasagna. My better half ordered spaghetti with red sauce and said it was fine. The house salad was good. The wine by the bottle was over-priced. I don't think casual restaurants should mark up triple on the wine. The selections were decent $10 bottles marked up to $32 on average, although priced by the glass was about what you would expect to pay anywhere. I liked the selections. If you go, stick to the pizza and eat in the bar if there are just two of you. It is probably not so loud.

a bit pricey for what you get but the food is prepared well and there is a lot of choices on the menu.

“Great food!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 21, 2012

We love Cosimos, Last night we were there with another couple and had a great time. Live music starting at 7pm on weekday! Great selection of well prepared meals. Some say prices are steep... we don't think so. A little more than chain sit down restaurants, but incredibly better food and service. Best brick-oven pizza around and their specials never disappoint. Note - the atmosphere is loud because of the architecture.

“Love It”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 26, 2012

Wife and i simply love Cosimos. It is great for special occassions and just a regular night out to eat. Prices are steep but worth the gourmet presentation and taste of their food. If you like great food, the rustic smell of a wood burning stone stove this is the place for you. Great wine selection as well. Service is marvelous too.
