My husband and I stayed at Nesva for 4 nights in early October during our first trip to NY. We found the hotel and room clean and modern. The front desk staff was friendly. The hotel is close to 2 subway stations; one around a 4 minute walk and the other about 10. The area seemed to be mainly residential with a few schools and some other businesses; we felt safe, even at night. The price was reasonable for NY. 1/2 or less from hotels in the city and with the convenience of the subway, it was a no brainer for us.
The continental breakfast was lacking. There were pastries and some fruit and yogurt. Not much else. However Rosa's nearby was good, quick and inexpensive. We booked through Priceline and pre-paid. However, my husband double checked the day before we checked out and Nesva was charging our credit card again. He showed our original reservation and receipt and they stopped the second charge.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.
