“Great Location, Great Service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2013

We had a great stay. It was very convenient since the subway was just a block away to Manhattan. We got our free Wi-Fi and free Breakfast and the staff was great. That's all we were looking for anyways. Thanks for making our stay in NYC a great one.

Room Tip: Try a higher floor. Lower level is good if you are ona budget since they have those available as wel...

Despite being a two stars hotel, it was very good in many things, but I want to highlight the kindly of front desk people, in special André (we had a medical inconvenient and he always was ready to help us).
I liked the dining area that was open 24 hours for tea. Breakfast was generous.
The hotel is very good communicated. In addition to the metro stations, just one block the bus Q32 passes, that runs down Fifth Avenue. This is very good.
Thank you for all.

The rooms are small, the bathroom countertop is small and the closet is like a cabinet but the location and the staff make up for all of that. I had a problem with my TV the first night so they transferred me to a different room and upgraded me. The staff was very accommodating and even helped me take everything to the new room.

Breakfast is like every other free breakfast so nothing great there. The location was about a block from the Queensboro Plaza train station and is an easy trip into the city, or an easy transfer to Brooklyn. I would definitely stay here again.

I got this hotel with a great deal from groupon. I wanted to go to NYc fro the Harry Potter exhibit in Times Square. I arrived and the check in was smooth with nice gift bag. It went down hill from there. Got out room keys and they did not work. We had ro go down and get new keys to a different room. The room had a view of the dump that is across the street and faced the bridge into the city. It was not a restful night. The windows did not close all of the way and we could feel a draft and hear the cars all night. The room was very small if you pulled out the office chair you could not walk around the bed. The breakfast was ok but it was a very small area with 10 chairs and 3 tables. It was not at large enough for the amoun of rooms in the hotel. The food was the regular average fare given at hotels. THe area around the hotel was not the best but it was not awful. Not a kid friendly area at all. Taxis are hard to come by and the staff didi not want to call a taxi to help. I would not stay here again.

Room Tip: The hotel is across the street from a large dump.

Thank You for taking the time to write a review about your recent stay. We are sorry to hear that you would not stay with us again. Yes, the rooms and hotel is not very big but for New York City, we believe they are the right size and are slighly bigger than the comparable ones to be found in Manhattan. There is a Metal recycling place across one of the streets but our guests have found it amusing if anything.
NYC Taxis can only be hailed on the street so unfortunately we would not be able to call those but we gladly work with car serivce company and have netogiated great rates for JFK, LGA and EWR Airports which our guests seem to like.
We hope you will change your mind and give us another chance. We would love to serve you again in the near future. Thank You.

I had been to NY on a business trip and I stayed in this hotel for 2 weeks. The hotel is located just a block away from Queensborough subway station. It is a convenient location for the business travelers visiting Manhattan. However, the stay in the hotel was of average as no service is provided. If you need anything; you need to go the front desk to avail. Even, the rooms are not cleaned properly. Place recommended for business travelers and not for visitors on vacation.

My husband and I often travel to New York City for his work but it just so happened that he had several meetings in Long Island. I was surprised to find outrageously high rates in LI. We visited three different hotels before we finally decided on the Comfort Inn. We've had previous negative experiences at Comfort Inns but this location, however, was quite different. The staff was friendly, the rooms were comfortable and clean. I'd recommend this hotel over other budget hotels in the area.

Husband and I have stayed here five times for a week at a time, and each time was good enough. The last time we experienced a problem with our reservation (not our fault) and we needed management's help. He yells first (oh boy what a temper!), blamed us for the front desk's mistake, and tried to change his story later when we proved it. We felt so attacked, and were far from home with nowhere else to go. This was days after Hurricane Sandy, and all other hotels were booked. We will not be back. So disappointed :(
