“too bad to describe”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 week ago

we reserved a room with three others friends. We had a double room with two bed. no placet to put our luggage ! the bathroom was disgusting.. too many hairs everywhere. The air conditioning did not work... in the middle of summer, it is not acceptable.
The floor was dirty, beasts in the bed.

We decided to cancelled our 3 nights and we had to spend 1 night. The person at the frontdesk was extremely rude. We only had a swiss cell but we had to phone the OTA ourselves to cancel ( with all the extra costs).

We thought our nightmare would end but the day after, while we were having breakfast, the employee took away all the food saying that breakfast was over. Indeed breakfast ended at 10.00am but politness would let us finish our toast before taking it away. We felt this gesture as a revenge.

I really do not recommend this hotel.
SInce then my opinion about Ramada Hôtel is much more lower...

Its fairly close to the subway (much better to catch it in long island before it gets full in Manhattan) and the rooms were nice and clean, breakfast was good especially considering it's free but there weren't a lot of seats so we just brought it to our room. Good hotel overall :)

First check the photos and that basically explains everything. We've reported the rip curtain just to make sure we don't get accused of doing it. Good thing we only stayed 2 nights. This place was gross and dirty. The eating area is basically located in the lobby and tables are almost in front of the lobby doors. Never again!!!! Moved to County inn which was 100% better with the same price.

Room was fairly good sized and had a short walk to the subway. I had difficulty with my key, it quit working TWICE, but I went to the front desk and they replaced it. Also, they aren't too good about stocking the soda machine. I made them aware that there wasn't any diet soda or water and they never did refill it. Fortunately there was a market at the end of the block close enough to walk to.

i stayed there for 12 nights as it was close to the city. stains on the floor of the bathroom. bad patch up jobs. the door had to be closed at force. you could hear everyone coming and going on the floor. also the windows were dirty and didn't really open. However the staff at the front desk was helpful and friendly

The shower had mold growing on it and it looked like someone had tried to paint over it. There was a bar of soap in the shower that had been left by the last person who stayed in that room so obviously the room wasn't cleaned properly. There was poop stains on the floor which was a little disturbing until I noticed there was actually some poop on the bed skirt of one of the beds. This place was a disaster. I spent over 100 dollars on parking in the 3 days I was there since they don't have a parking lot. And the breakfast area was always crowded. The people who worked there were very nice though. I won't be back. Ever

The hotel is a short walk from the Subway and just a few stops away from Central Park and Times Sq. So not much to complain about there. The staff is helpful and kind. You get what you pay for, and for the price it's a decent hotel. The breakfast is okay, but there is not much space to sit at in the lounge to eat in the mornings. Other than that, we had a pleasant week!
