My daughter and I stayed here in October and we had a very pleasant experience. It was close to subway station, rooms were very clean, bed was very comfortable. We would definately stay here again.

It was hard to find the hotel having stepped off the subway at Queensboro Plaza! The area isn't too bad but about 10mins walk from the subway, which is a challenge with luggage!
The reception doubles as the breakfast lounge. It us a franchised hotel under the Ramada name. The room was on the fourth floor over looking the street. It wasn't too noisy.

The room was grubby, stained comforter. The blackout curtains were hanging off the rails and had holes in them. The smoke sensor was missing! The toilet seat was so loose you could easily slip off it! It seemed to always take two flushes too!!
I contacted reception concerning the faults and they sent up a 'handyman' - no tools / ladder - so he refitted the blackout curtains after I point out they were off at both ends! He got a smoke detector and stood on the rooms swivel chair to fit it!

After about 20 mins the detector started bleeping loudly, it took four calls to reception and 5 visits by two different 'handymen' balancing on the swivel chair to sort it out by replacing the detector - I seriously believe the detector did not work at all!

The room doors are metal and every time some one entered or left a room it echoed through the room. The first night there was a drunk trying to get into the room next to me at 3am and couldn't find his key and was lying on the floor going through his pockets!! Yes I was woken up!

My feeling about the breakfast was - I have never tasted anything so awful. I only went once out of three days!

I truly feel this is a 'poor relation' to the Ramada Hotel Group.

Nice modern hotel in Long Island City. Room was on the 7th floor and had great Manhatten city views. All modern room features with a massive, comfy bed and great shower in the bathroom, with toiletries provided. Surrounding area looks a little scruffy but we felt safe even when returning via the subway late at night. Subway is a 10 minute walk and it takes about 15-20 minutes to reach Times square. Fabulous breakfast and the staff were really friendly and nice. Overall a good hotel and not a bad price for New York area.

We stay there on september 2013. We were 4 people and the room was nice, clean, and most of all, the hotel was near the subway, like four blocks away or so, pretty easy to get to Manhattan. It was the same beakfast everyday, but it was ok. The staff was nice enough. I do recommend this hotel as a good price solution for short vacations.
