Nice clean room, comfortable bed, big flat screen TV, Microwave and bar-sized fridge and free continental breakfast to boot. This is not a luxury hotel (what some reviewers seem to expect) but an affordable and convenient option for folks looking to do a little shopping at Destiny USA or the Waterloo Outlets. If you're looking for stunning decor and a full-service restaurant and bar you're going to pay four times what you pay here. As mentioned, the room was very clean, no odd smells, no unusual noises or serious deficiencies. I'd return anytime. (Hey WTJTravels, put your magnifying glass and measuring tape away, try the Jefferson Clinton at four times the price, Maybe their molding matches up and you can move the bed wherever you want LOL.)

We stayed for a quick overnight stop while traveling across NYS. If you check in late, like we did, it's a little disconcerting as the front desk is in lock down mode and you check in through a barred window. The motel was relatively clean, there's a fridge and microwave in the room, and plenty of hot water with a decent shower head. There's an included breakfast with the basics coffee, yogurt, cereal, etc. The room we were in looked recently updated. They get an E for effort, but... the workmanship was questionable. The bed is on a platform that cannot be moved, and, unfortunately, the bathroom door could not be closed. (See pictures). If we shoved the mattress far enough off the platform, we could push the door closed, but we learned the painful way that you had to then be super careful not to whack your leg on the now, very sharp and very much exposed corner of the platform. Plus, you obviously couldn't do this when one of you was sleeping in the bed! For that odd room quirk, I'm giving the place a two. Judging by some of the other workmanship issues we saw in the room, like molding not matching up, someone must have been having a bad day measuring things. If you weren't the last to check in, you probably would not get the room with the bed in the way of the bathroom door, and would likely have a more positive experience.

I stayed at the Knight's Inn for a few nights with girlfriends. We were in town to do some cross-border Christmas shopping and just wanted a clean room convenient to the Destiny USA mall and the Waterloo Premium Outlets. This place fits the bill perfectly. The room was clean and had a bar fridge we could put our drinks in. There was also a small microwave but we didn't use it. Clean bathroom with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was FREE.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Knight's Inn for one night while en route to Niagara Falls.
The receptionist at check-in was extremely friendly and helpful; recommending places to eat or visit, along with a page full of addresses and directions. You get what you pay for. The rooms are nothing spectacular (outdated decor and furniture), but they are clean, comfortable and everything works (newer flat screen TV's too). We stayed at what was supposed to be a "boutique hotel" in Niagara Falls on the American side, paying triple the amount for one night stay at the Knights Inn and had a way more pleasure experience at this hotel than that one. Breakfast was typical of what you'd find in a budget hotel: cereal, toast, bagels, store bought pastries, oatmeal, yogurt, juice coffee, tea, etc. but it was fully stocked and the coffee was fresh, hot and delicious. The hotel is located conveniently off of the highway, so getting on route to our destination was a breeze. I think you'll be very surprised at what's offered for the price. Great value, money well spent.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 227. It was a kind room and had a pull out couch. It would be perfect for a small...

We stayed in a room with king size bed.
It was clean, comfortable with TV, microwave, fridge and huge bathroom.
Right off of I90!

They have a decent breakfast. Very basics like bagel, cereal, juice, coffee etc. But at least its free!

This is a great place, would definitely go there again if traveling in Syracuse area.

My husband and I just needed a place to spend the night and we didn't need anything fancy. We tried the Knight's Inn as the price was lower than any other place in the area and the reviews weren't bad. We were pleasantly surprised by how spacious the room was, with a little sofa, coffee table, king size bed, frig and microwave. Plus, the TV was larger than most we have had in much costlier places. The bathroom was tiny, with the sink area outside of the toilet and tub area, but who cares? It worked fine and everything was clean. Even though the Inn is just off the highway, we heard no noise whatsoever and the heating unit was very quiet. I wish the pricey hotels we've been in had as quiet a system so you didn't hear it cycle on and off every few minutes. We did not get to the breakfast in time as it ends at 9:30 a.m. so cannot comment on that. We would definitely stay again. If you are looking for an inexpensive place to stay that is clean, comfortable and quiet without all the "bells and whistles" of a pricier place, give it a try.

Initially I stayed here because availability in Syracuse was low. Due to this I was stuck to a smoking room my first two nights. Never thought a room could feel that dirty. The smell of the room was no fault of the management as it was a smoking room, but the dirt on the carpets was evident from my socks. Chairs and couches also had stains on them and not sure if the pet policy/pet cleaning charge was actually used to clean the rooms from previous pet visitors or just pocketed.

For the remainder of my trip, was moved to a non smoking room. Was more clean overall despite dirty chairs and couches again. The place overall seems like it needs to be remodeled as the furniture reminds me of the early 90's era. This is also evident in the bathroom tiles maintenance and upkeep are not present.

The place was generally fine if you are not too picky on where you stay but I wouldn't visit again even if there is low availability in Syracuse.

Room Tip: You will want a non smoking room.
