On a recent business trip, I stopped in for dinner (7 pm) at Kirin China, and was glad I did! While the place looked like your standard Chinese restaurant, what I found was a little, local restaurant that serves great chinese dishes, cooked to order, served (quickly) fresh & hot, with great flavor and spice level. (I requested my dish spicy/hot, and it was served perfectly that way!) Everything from the soup, egg roll, crispy fried noodles, and even the hot tea, to the main course was very, very good! Portions were large and the price was very fair for a combination dinner ($11.75) that includes soup, egg roll & dessert. Kirin China has a very large menu selection, but it was nice to see the "old fashioned" combinations available. If I am ever in the Lindenhurst area again, I would look foward to eating at Kirin China again! Overall Rating ~ Very Good.
