Friendly owners, two friendly dogs who make mad dashes to greet you and say goodbye, attractive and comfortable rooms, enjoyable breakfasts (including maple walnut scones by my request). The location is perfect if you are visiting Lewiston for its excellent restaurants, many of which are just a short block away on Center Street. So is the little Lewiston historical museum (closed by October alas). The waterfront, the Artpark, and the Dogpark are each a half mile away, quite walkable on a pleasant day.
Another review critiqued the roosters. That is the B&B's theme, of course. There are hundreds of them; prominent and obscure, clocks, cups, wall hangings, ceramic, plush. That's one more thing that makes this B&B memorable.
