“not good”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 9, 2014

I was there for lunch on Friday noon. There were probably 4 or 5 other tables of customers. My table ordered a fish fry and turkey sandwich and 45 minutes later a server came back to ask what dressing was wanted for the salad. It took 10 minutes after that to get the salad. All told we were there 1 hour before food was brought to the table. trying to get the bill taken care of after lunch was just as frustrating.

“Mac n Cheese”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 4, 2014

As soon as dish is set down it appears to be jammed with cheese, It was cheesy but it had just the right amount. I chose lobster in mine and would go out of my way for it.
Chicken wings were ok, they needed more sauce.

“Mac and Cheese Extreme”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2014

A Buffalo area chain known for creative macaroni and cheese combinations has expanded to Le Roy to fill the empty Ganson House building. Mooney's Bar and Grill offers an amazing selection of mac and cheese dishes with add-ins ranging from a traditional lobster to the quite unexpectedly wonderful loaded french fry mac and cheese. Stuffed hot pepper appetizers also show up as burger toppings and fillings in various mac and cheese including a wonderful steak bomber with cheese stuffed hot peppers (also available as a sub). The portions are huge – the "side" mac and cheese is plenty for two meals, especially if you add on the more than generous side salad. I can't speak to the desserts as we have never made it that far in a meal.

Casual decor compliments the beautiful bar left over from the Ganson House making it a nice place for a drink or a sit down meal. Very family friendly vibe with a nice kids menu. Some TVs, but they don't overwhelm the place. Mooney's also offers take-out catering with large pans of their mac and cheese options.
