“Very good casual dining”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2014

We were staying at the Latham Inn and the Philly Bar & Grill is located just across the parking lot. Can have drinks and walk back to your room. The food was good for casual dining, the locals made for great people watching during dinner. The music was a little loud but then we were eating kind of late, can't blame them for the music being loud; after all, it is a bar with nightlife on a Friday night.

“Great atmosphere on the patio!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 18, 2014

We were there on a pleasant Thursday evening when the live entertainment (Joes Boys) were the main draw. The food was very good and service was adequate. I would recommend this place for a casual bite. The live music made the environment much more inviting.

“One of the most obnoxiously loud dining experiences of my life”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2014

I went with a group of friends on a Wednesday night. The place was extremely crowded because of a weekly event. Normally I hate these kinds of weekly events, but in this case, the event was the only thing that made the noise level sometimes bearable. The music was so loud our waitress couldn't hear anything we said to her. The only time the music wasn't overwhelmingly loud was when the annoying announcer was calling out bingo numbers. Half our party left with headaches and had to walk outside to say goodbye. If you have to go out to eat or drink with someone you don't want to talk to, this is the place to go. If you want to go home with a headache, this is the place to go. If you want to enjoy some conversation while drinking or eating, don't bother with this place.

“Outdoor dining”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2014

This is a cool place, it has a bar inside and another outside. Their Philly Cheese Steak sandwiches are unbelieveable!!! You choose your meat, then your toppings, then your cheese from a huge variety of offerings. They are sports themed and have DJ's, bands and Karoke and trivia nights. Always something to do, it's ablast to go to Philly's even if you're a New York sports fan.........Go Giants!!!!

“Awesome Philly Steaks as well as other great food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2014

The Philly Bar and Grille is by all means the real deal. It has an incredible atmosphere(day or night), unbelievable great service, great prices and yes the best cheesesteak in the area. You customize your sandwich, coose either shaved steak or chicken, then up to three toppings and your choice of about six cheeses all for about eight bucks. The sandwich is incredibly good and a very nice size. The menu is also very diverse, not just a steak sandwich place. There are plenty of great choices to choose from. They have afternoon happy hours, evening trivia and beer bingo(?) as well as the best in the business karoake in Al Bruno. I discovered this place working right down the road and now I have been transferred and I will miss the food, service and ambience considerably. I will definitely be there whenever in the area. The one thing that makes it special is that I will miss the staff as much as the food. The owner Rocky(actually from Philly, lol), Christine and everyone else, you guys run a great place.
