“Great food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 23, 2013 via mobile

My omelette was more bacon and spinach than egg and I'm not complaining. It was phenomenal. Good hash browns and you can't mess up toast. Overall quite pleased!

“Don't know what all the hype is about”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2013

We decided to give this place another try after having a pretty poor hot turkey sandwich there a while back. (turkey swimming in chicken gravy...chicken gravy??? C'mon) And on white bread, to boot! I'll bet there was an entire can of gravy on that sandwich. Yuk.
This time, we ordered egg salad sandwich on rye. Asked server how it was and he said "delicious, scrumptious" so we went with it. So out came the sandwiches with a thimble -full of cole slaw, no chips. Bit into said sandwich and the bread was stale! DH's rye bread was also stale. Server just shrugged his shoulders when informed about the stale bread. So for $6.99 we got an ordinary sandwich on stale bread, no chips. Who doesn't serve a few chips with a sandwich these days?? Don't assume anything here, ask questions. This place is over-priced for what you get.
Honestly, Wendy's is better.
On a positive note, the place seemed clean.

“Good food, good prices”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 4, 2013

This is a typical NY diner with pretty much everything you can think of to eat. We ate lunch there one day and breakfast another day and both were good. The décor is a little dated, but it's Albany. I'd go back.

“Great for Late Night!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 1, 2013

We were driving (late night) from a show at SPAC to our hotel in Albany and this little gem was on our drive near the hotel in Albany! Open 24/7 with a lot of variety on the menu and a super nice and friendly staff! Great food late at night with smiles and it was cheap!! My husband and I each had coffee, soup and a sandwich and delicious sweet potato fries and the whole bill was under $25!! The next time you are in Latham or Albany or driving up or down the thruway; check out the Latham Diner!!!

“Average, But With Possibilities”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 25, 2013

The service was outstanding. Many great choices. I had the prime rib sandwich. It was delicious but the roll was a little over toasted. French fries were tasty. Date had mild wings and delmonico steak. He said both were ok. Would like to visit again and try something else.
