Great location – short walk to most restaurants and Mirror Lake activities. Courteous and professional staff – always a hello when passing by the front desk. Clean facility and reasonably up to date rooms and baths. Dog friendly but no messy areas (we brought our dog – a big plus). Rates are not cheap but not a horrible gouging for a tourist spot in late August. We got a package stay of 3 nights and get the 4th night at 50% off plus $50 to spend at Dancing Bears. I noticed that management (Mr. Reaser) responds to Tripadvisor critiques which to me says his focus is customer service. Other than the slightly less than pleasant hostess at Dancing Bears (she is however – pretty) everything was just fine – Oh one crazy thing – the garbage pails in the rooms and bath are very stylish but totally useless because they are too narrow - made me feel like I was at staying at a W. We’ll be back next year – I hope.
