“AMAZING!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2013

Amazing food and staff! It was just two women in the little place, and the place looks so tiny you wouldn't expect much out of it, but it was nothing short of amazing! The women were very friendly. We went here twice. The second day there were other people around, but everyone joked with everyone. It was definitely the small town diner you see in movies! The food is simply amazing, and very filling! Not very expensive either! The first day for two meals and two drinks it was only like 16 dollars! Don't let your stomach fool you! Start small, because it definitely is very, very filling! Once again, simply amazing! When I make it back to this area, I know where I'm going!

“Don't rely on GPS”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 14, 2012

First, if you plug 2 scofield rd into your GPS you will wind up down a back road at a farm. The diner is actually on Lake Rd and Scofield road.

Next, when you pull up, you will see a tiny shack and think oh boy, this looks like it could be awful. Fight your reflexes and go in. It is a tiny country diner but the service is good and the food (at least I can vouch for breakfast) is fantastic. The pancakes are big enough that one will serve a child and two an adult. The home fries, while they could be seasoned a bit more, are fresh cut and cooked perfectly. Definitely a good hearty breakfast and the price is not bad.

If you are into fancy table linens and fresh lingenberry syrup keep looking but if you're like my family and just want a good breakfast this place is the ticket.

“The worst breakfast experience.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2012

After 45 minutes of listening to screaming children and complaining customers I asked the waitress if she had an ETA of when my families breakfast might arrive, her response was "Huh?
I asked it again and she looked around like I was speaking a strange language. She walked into the kitchen and, upon returning, told me that they were just getting it. A couple of minutes later she brought me salty canned hash, unseasoned potatoes and the tiniest pieces of toast I've ever seen. As for the two over easy eggs, they were good. After leaving we started heading into Lake Goerge but unfortunatly we all felt sick and returned to our room due to the greasy food.

The place is dirty and cluttered with garage sale junk, not what you want to look at when you're trying to relax over breakfast.

Keep driving, there are some great breakfast places just up the street.

“Home Cooked Meals”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 20, 2011 via mobile

Great little diner. Every meal is from scratch and cooked to order. This means a little extra wait but it is worth it. This is a family owned and run diner with a friendly staff.
