We having been traveling in Ethiopia during fasting period and most (local and hotel based) restaurants are understanding and make some allowances. We have been eating injera for a month and had enough of it. This restaurant was completely inflexible and the service was terrible.
Out of the whole menu, they only had pizzas (cheese and tomato sauce only) and quiche. Discovering this was a process of deduction rather than an explanation. Despite being on the menu, they also had very limited soft drinks and only traditional coffee. They offer honey wine but it is worst I have had. The last lot I had out of a gasoline container was better!!
When the food arrived, it was fine but it took an hour (and we were the only ones in the restaurant)! The service was terrible and unfriendly.
This is the first restaurant review I have done in my month in Ethiopia, but I was so disappointed, I need to let people know. Don't bother going here, there are much better restaurants that want (and deserve) your business.
