Perfect place to stay. If you're not into corporate motels that are inpersonal. The owner was very friendly and more than happy to give us points of interest, a real "mom and pop" place by far. hot tub was great. We stayed 2 nights and are thinking of taking my boyfriends kids back next summer as the hotel away from the bar scene in the quiet area of lake George, with its reasonable rates and its family environment it would make it possible.

We stayed here the Labour Day weekend and we were not disappointed! Affordable, clean and friendly all in the same place. Would definitely stay again. The owner was great from the moment we landed there. Thanks for a great visit!

If you're looking for a quick getaway at an affordable price. This is the place. If you are like me, clean means everything! I would love more bells and whistles and a bit more comfy beds (sorry Alan) but it's all worth it and doable for a few nights. The owners are wonderful and attentive, friendly etc...And the village with all the major attractions is a short straight drive down the road. Even the housekeeper is nice!! We stayed last year and brought friends back with us this year who loved it just as much.

Room Tip: 2nd floor units are a little bigger than 1st floor.

Once again our trip and stay to Tall Pines was fantastic...... I don't expect anything less. As usual the owners were ready and eager to please. This year we were welcomed by the same familiar faces with a smile and a warm greeting. As an added bonus we stayed next to some really great folks as this place seems to bring out the best of most people. We sat by the fire with our new found friends and talked and laughed into the night.
think twice get a room and enjoy the best of the best here as the location is great no matter what you want to do.

Tall Pines Motel provides the best of both worlds; it has excellent services by its owners and staff, sauna, hot tub, pool and an excellent location that gives access to Lake George village and Saratoga to the south. Behind my room the area looked like a campground, with fire pit, chairs, gas grill, table. Each morning I woke to fresh coffee and donuts before heading out for the day. Everybody was friendly and personable. Even the groundskeeper was awesome.

Room Tip: Ask for the front row. Even though it's closest to the busy road, the "campground" are...

Just got back from a week long stay at Tall Pines Motel. The place was nice, clean and very comfortable! Our 4 year old twins loved the pool and playground. At nights we would start a camp fire and roast marsh mellows and BBQ during the day. The ride to the town or to the outlets was super easy and the owner (Ellen?) was so sweet and inviting. We hope to go back next year!
