“Hand made bread to order is amazing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 6, 2014

Price is reasonable. Falafel wrap, Gyro wrap, and the stone oven cooked bread with tzatziki sauce was outstanding. I only wish they had more for children - like a plate that offers chicken without seasoning and possibly some standby's like apple sauce. Luckily our daughter loves dolmas.

“Don't waste your time and money”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed April 21, 2014

Do not go to this place, we went there recently while visiting Lake George on Easter weekend. The menus make the food look better than it actually is and it is overly priced. We ordered a combo plate (2x the price of a regular plate so thinking it would be enough for 2 and they only provide a few pieces of meat and chicken. Definitely not enough for two people. They charge $3 for soda and it tasted like flat sugar water. The only upside of this place is the lavash bread and yogurt they have on the menu.

“Still Amazing!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2014

I was here back in 2011 and we happened to stop by again last month. It was 8:30pm, off season, sleeting outside and a Friday night - so they were about to close. They graciously served us even though they were probably happy to be heading home. It was like a ghost town that night.

I got the curry (amazing) and he got the quail. Both were so good. The lavish is to die for. I'm so glad we came here again! Excellent service!

“Turkish Heaven”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 17, 2014

If you like curry, this is the place. Excellent meals, great service and prices are very good. Homemade everything from Chicken or Veggie curry to Lavish bread with yogurt. The hot tea is a must. Felt like I was right back in the middle east. The owners and staff are very friendly.Make sure to ask for the Turkish Treat when you are done. Kid friendly, great service. Nice atmosphere.

“Leave out "Express"”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2013

This is a GREAT family restaurant. The food is delicious, home made, and the pricing is good (in comparison to most Mediterranean restaurants).
The location is right across the street form the green but the lake.

However, if you want an "express" meal, you will not find it here. This location is better suited for a more relaxing, leisurely meal.
So go, enjoy, then take in the beautiful scenery.
