“Perfect!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 9, 2013

Everything was how it should be:friendly, attentive staff. Great coffee (had a Latte, awesome). And the food was outstanding. I work in NYC and eat in cafes 5 days a week-Cafe Vero is right up there with the best of them. I'm not a big fan of home fries/potatoes but I ate every one on my plate..delicious!
My two cents-if you have to wait a few minutes to be seated, it is totally worth the wait-as are most things in life.
Lastly, my waitress was a gem. She talked to my kids and was smiling and friendly the whole time.
GO THERE!

“Second Review- even better than first!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 8, 2013

Went here daily on vacation for lattes, those stayed as good as can be. Stopped in on our last day in town for breakfast. Breakfast was great-their home fries are the best! Everything was great, nothing but compliments to the entire cafe!!

“Oh, the coffee!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

We went camping with our three little larks (6, 4 and 1) and were happy and grateful to find a restaurant with good reviews open early (before quiet time ended at the campground, natch). We arrived shortly after they open (6:30). They don't actually serve breakfast until 7am but served us delicious coffee (brewed for me, Americano for the hubby) and milk for the kids. The service was fast, and friendly, even with little ones. The food was good and they have real maple syrup (for an extra cost, but that's to be expected--it's expensive and worth it).

They serve a variety of eggs, pancakes, oatmeal, and house-made croissants. Not as flakey as you'd find in Montreal but good nonetheless. You can taste the real butter for sure. We were the first ones there for breakfast, but later on in the morning there was a line for tables (around 9, when we went back for a 2nd americano for my husband). Arrive early or do expect a wait.
