“Still loving the Milleridge Inn experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

I visit the Milleridge Inn three or four times per year for brunch and dinner. The atmosphere is always so nice and festive. The service is very good and I find the food to be very good and certainly a great value (appetizer, salad, main course, desert, beverage and the fabulous pop-overs and warm cinnamon bread for one fairly low price). I have always enjoyed the pot roast & turkey dinners...maybe not gourmet, but certainly good with enough leftover for lunch the next day. The asparagus with dijonaise is a very good appetizer and the fresh fruit salad is fresh, not from a can or jar.
Spending time walking through the Village shops is always fun to do, especially after the holidays and most items are at least 25% discounted! I think the Inn is a Long Island gem!

“Great Thanksgiving”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

I swore I would never go to a restaurant for Thanksgiving, but the Millerdige Inn does such a wonderful job and has for many years that my family and I just traveled ove 300 miles to have Thanksgiving there this year. Great food and excellent service. The shops are a aprt of the total experience. Be sure to give them a visit.

“Not worth the visit.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 21, 2013

The food was edible, the service adequate, but it felt like I was in a Manhattan tourist trap rather than a 1st class restaurant.

“Great atmosphere”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 9, 2013

I love the Milleridge Inn shops, bread and decor but the food is mediocre at best. It tends to be very bland and unseasoned. The prices are also very high. Dinner includes a starter (one of the choices is tomato juice) and dessert. It pays to check the menu on their web site before going.

“Food quality not a priority here”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 8, 2013

Like most people who have posted here, this restaurant has been a tradition with us for many years, particularly at the holidays: the decorations are festive, the wood burning fireplace is inviting and the carolers (where were they on New Years Day?) are a unique addition to the seasonal festivities here. Unfortunately, the food is really disappointing, truthfully, it has been for years, but the management doesn't seem to care as they haven't improved the offerings one iota, in fact, it has gotten much worse over time. We were there for dinner on New Years Day, and found very little to recommend the menu. The prices have been increasing, and the food quality declining. The onion soup was not hot, not tasty and served with what appeared to be a blob of canned parmesan cheese on top. The salad was the usual uninspired lettuce leaves with uninspired dressing. The scallops looked as if they were provided courtesy of Gortons frozen food, but didn't taste as good. There was dirt in my drink, my medium rare prime rib was served medium well and had to be sent back. Their best dish, the roast turkey, did not even make an appearance on this menu. Best thing I had was the carrot cake, which was sort of okay. Since this was a special occasion, I did not wish to complain that day, but I emailed the restaurant shortly thereafter, and have yet to receive any kind of response. This really shows me that the management is totally unconcerned with their product and believe they can continue in this manner relying on their past reputation of 30 years ago. Give this one a miss during the year; if you must visit at Christmastime, lower your standards and you will perhaps have a pleasant time.
