Going to Chautauqua Institution? LucyFest? Roger Tory Peterson museum? Jamestown Ice Skating Rink? SERIOUSLY consider staying at the Oaks Bed and Breakfast Hotel on 3rd Street in Jamestown. There's a Best Western nearby, but don't bother. 25 minutes from Chautauqua Institution, but worth the trip. Innkeepers Richard and Joe make you feel like you belong there - that the room you're staying in was selected just for you. Breakfast was AMAZING! Fresh-brewed coffee, amazing fresh fruit, pastries, French Toast, warm pecan sticky buns. I could go on and on. No TV in our room, but free wi-fi, cold beverages and generally a lovely place to spend a few days in Western NY.
