“Adorable atmospher, Great FOOD!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 1, 2012

We love the Jamesport Country Kitchen. Every time we have been there the food has been wonderfully delicious. The veggies are fresh and their home made bread is to die for. We go there every time we go out east. We even took 2 different sets of friends and they raved about it...you will not be disappointed! Enjoy

“ONE OF THE BEST ON THE NORTH FORK”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 10, 2012

The "Kitchen" is well known to the locals as one of the best places to eat on the North Fork of Long Island. The food is great; ask for, and order, one of the specials or have the linguini with hot Italian sausage and shrimp. Very good local wine selection and the nicest service staff you will ever encounter. Great place to stop on your way when visiting the local wineries.

“Good Fare.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 27, 2012

We ate there on Saturday and had a lovely meal....The waitstaff are older, professional, kind and take good care. A great salad came with our dinner. The bread basket was plentiful but the bread was bland. I was looking for something a little more home baked or at least interesting.

We had the wild boar, eggplant, and shrimp scampi and all were with good reviews.

The only reason I didn't give it five stars was because, it's not that kind of place...

“Good comfort food and wonderful ambiance and service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 17, 2012

An excellent stop-over for lunch especially if you're doing a wine vineyard tour in this part of Long Island. Food was delicious, and the people attending to us were friendly and charming. Hard to get that kind of genuine customer service in most restaurants these days.

The fried brie is amazing! A must-try! I also enjoyed the spinach and ricotta cheese ravioli in pesto cream sauce.

Am including in this review some photos of the food we ordered. I visited this restaurant in August 2011 (although this period wasn't available anymore in the dropdown choices for this review).

“Quaint ambiance”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 11, 2012

Small, quaint old farmhouse. Quite good food. It's a place I can order many different things and not be let down. But the fried brie appetizer is something I dream of. Majorly delish. Friendly, older servers who are experienced and not ditsy. A gem.
