“Great Airport Hotel”

After traveling abroad, this clean, comfy hotel was a welcomed place to rest our heads. I was very satisfied with our experience there. We were very thankful for the breakfast and free shuttle to the airport. The breakfast had waffles, cereals, hot drinks, fresh fruits, breads, eggs, and sausage.

We stayed at this hotel from Dec 12 to Dec 17 2013 and it was a very good stay.Hotel staff was very friendly exept the one driver on the morning of Dec 16 around 9 in the morning.He was very rude.The rest of the staff made up for his horrible behavior.The buffet breakfast was very good and was always being replenished by the employee.I would definitely stay at this hotel again.The girl that cleaned our room was so good,she fixed the pillows in a fashionable way on the bed and fix all the toiletries neatly.I wanted to thank her the last day of my stay but I knew she was not there by the way the room had been cleaned on Dec 16.I do not usually wrote reviews but I definitely wanted to thank all the people at that hotel except the one driver to continue doing the great job they do.

Good, clean hotel. Near JFK, good van service to the airport. Breakfast was so-so, I do not recommend the eggs. The room was small but well set up. Parking was off site but easy. My wife said she would stay there again and that means it was a nice place. Over all a very good value for the money.

Unfortunately, there is not much good to say about this hotel. If you do not have much luggage with you, then it is fine, otherwise the rooms are quite small in American standards and you will have a VERY small room, once you open your suitcase !! Reception personnel is fine, not too friendly, but just fine. The beds were comfortable, so that was good. Breakfast was very basic, and not impressive at all. If the hotel is busy, there is no space to move around, the restaurant is VERY crowded ! Seems like the ONLY person that works hard in this hotel is the girl at the dining-room. I think she is from a Latino backround, I do not remember her name, but she was very friendly, and hard worker !! She was trying to do her best under the condition she has. The location is far from any shopping area and if you do not have a car, it will take you around $18-22 to get to the nearest shopping mall. I can not see a reason to go back to this hotel, it is very much overpriced for what you get !!

The Air India flight to New Delhi had been missed and I selected this hotel at the API booking counter in JFK airport as free shuttle service was available to and from the airport. Reaching the hotel was simple and it was only twenty minutes away from the Terminal 4. Hospitality was a plus point as all the staff were very cordial and any call was promptly attended to, The room was clean, adequate for single occupancy with nice shower , Complementary alcoholic beverages were available in the evening along with popcorn. Free wi-fi was also made available and the front desk also gave Laptop / mobile charger if asked , Breakfast was frugal and on second floor the corridor small. Probably as my booking was through API , I think the price was high.

Thank you so much for the review. API is a great way for us to accommodate travelers without reservations and I am glad that we had the room for you. We do offer a social hour twice during the week on our busier days for the weary traveler. It is a fantastic way to cap off a long day of flying. We pride ourselves very much on our professionalism and hospitality. It goes a long way for the staff when they are recognized through Tripadvisor. I know that they appreciate that and so do I. Rooms very clean, staff were friendly especially Feroza who made a lovely breakfast every morning. Free shuttle to the airport with very helpful drivers. However, there is no restaurant in the hotel but you can order takeaway from various menus provided by the hotel. Overall good value would stay there again.

Room Tip: We were on the fourth floor, double room, was very quiet.

The room was small and there was residual odor of disinfectant or cleaning fluid. The staff was pleasant and helpful, but the facilities are minimal. The entrance is very small, the breakfast is at the sparse end of the spectrum. This hotel is at the lower end of Best Westerns.
