“A Good Local Brew”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 3, 2014

A local brewery on the outskirts of Ithaca which brews a lot more beer than you would expect. We tried the flights, which allowed us to sample almost all of the beers. There’s a cool beer garden outside which we could not use because it was raining. They were growing veggies out there that they use in their food. We both had pizzas. The BBQ pork was good, and the special with the leeks and mushrooms was even better. If you like beer, don’t miss this place when you are in Ithaca.

“Great setting, local produce and great beer”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 31, 2014

My husband has been a fan of Ithaca Beer Company's Flower Power IPA, so while in Ithaca we decided to visit in person. The Taproom is a fun place to eat and the food was very good. The menu is limited to stone oven pizzas, burgers and a few other items or spceials, but they do it very well. The greens for salads are grown right outside on site. While waiting for a table, you can stroll outside, sit around a wood burning fire-pit, relax at a picnic table, or have a game of boccie. A very unique experience. The food is all from local vendors and is really great. The taproom fries and ketchup are a treat on the side. My daughter enjoyed the Ithaca Beer Co. root beer and I tried some finger lake wines. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Ithaca.

“End of the day relaxation.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 14, 2014

MY SO and I stopped by the brewery after a long day of hiking the trails around Utica. We chose to sit inside due to availability. That was a mistake because it was so hot and stuffy. Add to that, the presence of flies and gnats were a huge distraction to us enjoying our meal. That's why I only gave it an Average rating.

The food was good. We started with a cup of cheddar soup and the Hoop Salad which was fresh with a wonderful tomato vinegarette. We then had the Sausage and Pepper wood-fired pizza and proceeded to eat the whole thing. We took our beverages to the outside fire pit after dinner and enjoyed the beautiful Finger Lakes sunset.

“Go for beer, Food just okay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2014

Great atmosphere and we enjoyed the beer sampler. Wasn't crazy about the food. I had pulled pork and it was okay but only a sliver of cole slaw. Spouse had a ham sandwich with smoked gouda that sounded good but was very disappointing. So little cheese we thought they forgot to add. The fries were not hot--not cold but had been sitting for awhile I think. We took the brewery tour and it was fun and the guide engaging. Learned so much about the beer I wish we had done that first.

“Surprisingly great food!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2014 via mobile

We came for the beer and LOVED the food. The special side of braised greens was memorable! We were surprised by the creativity and farm to table. We'll done! The bar was light and airy and you can sit outside too! Loved it!
