“A Must See Stop on Weekends”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2013

We never miss a chance to wander through the Farmer's Market when we're in Ithaca on a weekend. Gorgeous fresh produce, crafts, breads, foods, wines, and a good place to buy quirky gifts. Free parking is available on the premises, but you might have to wait for a space. It's worth it.

“Life at its Best.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 12, 2013

I am always amazed when I get to Ithaca and visit this wonderful farmers market. So many booths of wonderful organic vegetables and wonderful food and smells. The view of the lake and the entertainment just adds to the atmosphere. Love the variety of foods, flowers, wines and the friendliness of the vendors.

“Wowsa!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2013

Wonderful gem of a market. Eclectic mix of foods, crafts and a bit of what not. Delicious funky meals available from all corners of the globe. You can take a tour of Cayuga Lake from the dock at the foot of the market (you can even come by boat if you desire). Frame any scene and it could be the cover of a book! My only complaint is that prices are a bit steep. The market here in my town is bigger (more farmers and actual produce) and less expensive but quality here is extraordinary.

“the best farmer's market in NY state”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2013

I've gone to the Ithaca farmers market repeatedly over the years. The veggies are enticing, the baked goods delicious (try anything from the "Fat Boy" Bakery, especially the sourdough bread), the snack foods yummy (I like the Cuban sandwiches, samosas, and chile rellenos), and the view of Cayuga lake can't be beat. If the boat is running tours from the landing the day you are there, take it! Yesterday the women's crews from either Cornell or Ithaca College were out practicing rowing. Lovely to watch while eating something--in my case, a burrito with egg & cheese for breakfast.

“An Event Not To Be Missed”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 4, 2013

Most of us have been to Farmers Markets, but this is really a happening. It's all organic with about 160 plus vendors of veggies, breads, fruit, food producers, cheeses, wines, craft items, etc. There are many folks, towns people, tourists, students and children. All having a wonderful time shopping, eating, visiting, playing, listening to music all by the water front. This is not a place to run into and get out in a hurry. We got their about 11 am. Driving in, finding a parking space , and leaving all take time. Folks are patient and polite. It was a great community experience.
