“Great Lunch!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 4, 2013

We had a wonderful, creative lunch. We understand the chef has new creative specials every day. So very, very good. We ate out on the covered breezeway facing away from the parking lot with a gorgeous view of fall colored trees and hills. What a treat. Delicious food with a view. We paired our meal with a recommended wine and beer. A totally pleasant experience. We hope to return before we leave the area.

“WOW! What a surprise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 26, 2013

This is located at the Americans Winery. All their food is from local farmers, and the fare was great. I had the cheeseburger with caramelized onions and mushrooms, medium rare - superb. My husband had the pulled pork sandwich - terrific. Only bad was the water, had a plastic taste - stick to wine or beer.

“Great music, good food, ruined by begging dogs”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 21, 2013

We went to Americana for a birthday celebration. The music by the Dirty Birds was fantastic. The food was good. But the evening was ruined for us by two large dogs going from table to table begging for food. One of the dogs pushed under a neighboring table just after their food was served. I asked the waitress to please remove the dog and she tried to get the dog to move. When our food was served the dogs came right back over to our table. Don't get me wrong, I like dogs. But not badly behaved begging dogs. I got the impression that the dogs belonged to the owners and they don't care about their guests or wait staff! I also told the manager that the dogs were definitely a reason for me not to come back. I was thanked for my opinion.

“Great meal at wines”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 2, 2013

We were able to walk to the American Winery from our B&B (Black Walnut). It's a good thing because they have so many good wines. For dinner we had the lamb burger and gorgonzola salad. Both were wonderful.

On the day we visited, there was a jazz band so we spent several hours there. It was a very enjoyable experience.

“Great Stop on wine tasting tour”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2013

We stopped here last friday for wine tasting and ended up staying for dinner, the table was outside and the setting was stunning, it was a beautiful location. I ended up get a salad with salmon that was delicious, my 13 year old daughter got the same and ate all of it. There was live band playing in the pavilion area and was a nice touch to the evening. A special plus were two dogs that have been at the vineyard for every wandered around and were very sweet.
Our waiter was less than attentive and my friend let the manager know just for future reference, but overall nice place.
