“Good food at reasonable prices”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2013

The group I was with ate several dinners at The Woods Inn; there were 14 of us, and we were seated at two tables (which we preferred). We ate our meals early, so the service was always very good. The menu is quite varied, and there were always at least two specials - one of which was always $9.95. The food was tasty and attractively plated; I really enjoyed the salmon, but others enjoyed steak, turkey dinner (one of the specials), pasta with shrimp. House wines were good and reasonably priced. They didn't complain about writing separate tickets, and when the checks came I was pleasantly surprised that the usual 18% gratuity for a group was not added. Yes, I will return if I'm ever in Inlet again.

“Heaven on a plate”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2013

We absolutely loved this restaurant. Our waiter took quite a while to get to our table so the manager promptly came over, apologized for the wait, and offered our daughter a free dessert. The wine list was great and very affordable. We had the risotto with mushrooms, spinach and shrimp, the ravioli with lobster and the prime rib. Everything was delicious, prepared to perfection. The dessert turned out to be a blueberry-lemon cake... out of this world! Wish I lived closer so that I could stop by more often!

“Great tavern menu”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2013

This is an amazing old hotel with lots of history. Another great place to eat. We ate in the tavern and it's a cool spot to hang out. The bartender (I forgot her name) was great! She's fast and attentive. GREAT PIZZA!!

“Great location, great food, great wine prices”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2013

The Woods Inn has seating overlooking 4th Lake. Ask for a table with lake view. The menu is extensive and interesting with daily specials as well. The food is excellent - Pork Osso Bucco and Lobster Ravioli with Pesto. Excellent! They have a long list of wines that are $15 or lower per bottle. Yes, per bottle! Their grounds are lovely with Adirondack chairs overlooking the water for relaxing after dinner and a huge dock if you want to arrive by boat. Also, there is a gazebo on the end of the dock if you want to sit right out on the water after dinner.
