“I agree, Paris in NY!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 10, 2013

Having never been to France, I have no idea. This does not mean though that Cassis doesn't set the bar. In fact, it is the best French restaurant I've been to, including NYC and Georgetown. There might be better restaurants in NYC in the fancier style, but Cassis is perfect without spending a fortune. Even on a super waiting only night, the restaurant has an intimate feel. Not secluded, but extravagant in your solitude - everyone is so busy talking or focused on their meal, you have alone time. The menu is not typical, ingredients great. Everything about Cassis is unique. It's hard to believe you're a few doors down from the movie theater. If you like well done food, enjoy eating something different, the this is the place for you. Instead of burgers and chicken, you can have duck, qual, etc. really great drinks menu too. Dress a little nicer than for the Hibachi place.

“Good food and atmosphere”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 5, 2013

Very nice French restaurant. Felt like we were in a bistro in Paris. Just wish they served the entree beef dinner in a pot like they do in most Paris bistros.

“A taste of Paris in Huntington! Bon appetit! Fabulous!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 26, 2013

This is an authentic French bistro in Huntington, right down to the Calvados. Food, wine, service, and ambiance are excellent. Everything about the location says French bistro. Enjoy! YUM!

“wine prices”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 11, 2013

We were touted by the owner to try a bottle of Malbec which he saud we would love.We did. We were charged $38, which was very high a few years ago. The wine was just OK, and a few weeks later I saw the same bottle in a wine store for $9.95.I thought the restaurant's markup was uncalled for, especially when touted by the owner. We haven't been back since. They take no reservations, parking is difficult, but the food is very good.
