After reading reviews, we were hesitant to book a room here, but all other places were booked as it was Memorial Day weekend. We decided to view the room first. We opted to see the upgraded King room, which was $10 more and larger. It looked spacious and clean so we agreed. We got the AAA rate and it was quite reasonable. The front desk woman was very nice, and fresh airports of coffee were available the whole time we were there. We had everything we needed: WiFi, nice TV, good air conditioner, comfortable bed, laundry room, and a microwave and refrigerator in room. It is in easy walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in this charming town. The continental breakfast was nothing special but certainly adequate with cereal, fruit, toast
and pastry. Don't be frightened by the bad reviews and run down appearance. We usually are
accustomed to expensive B & B's and 4-5 star hotels. However, for the money, and if other places are full, we recommend you give it a try. You can always check room first if in doubt.
