We were told about the Eagle Hotel by Peter and Mary, owners of the Pearl of Seneca Lake and for the past three years have had dinner here our first night at the B&B. The Eagle is a small out of the way restaurant where a lot of the local people go. Even though we are not local we have always been treated like friends and not strangers. People at the nearby tables involve us in conversations and we get good tips on local markets, the best wineries and what produce may be in season. We also learn who may be racing at Black Rock Speedway that weekend. It is always fun and the food is great. Try the merlot mushroom soup, yum!
