I am not sure where to start!! I guess I will begin with the 1st class treatment I received from Greg LaDuca when I arrived at the hotel my first week of working in the Rochester area. He had been alerted by my local HR colleague to the fact that I would be staying at the DoubleTree on a very frequent basis in 2013. When I arrived I received a very warm personal welcome and was instructed to call the CareLine day or night if I had any issues or problems. It was quite a surprise to me that I received this sort of welcome because honestly I had never received something like this in the 20+ years I have been traveling for my career. Each and every week I have returned the staff has taken the time to get to personally know me, and now I feel like I have a 2nd family. This makes being away from my immediate family so much more tolerable. From the front desk/reception area, to the Atrium lounge, to housekeeping, to the shuttle, and last but not least the Bistro 252 restaurant, every team member has a smile on their face and makes you feel like you are the most important person in the world. The rooms are very comfortable and any time I have had an issue with my room they have immediately moved me or fixed the issue. Craig, who leads the Maintenance team, goes over the top to make sure my maintenance related issues are quickly solved. The team in the Atrium Lounge are a blast to spend an evening with, especially if you are traveling alone. The Bistro 252 team are always welcoming me with a smile in the morning and the food is EXCELLENT!! I can't say enough about the staff at this hotel. I am very thankful to have found them and I have been staying here very frequently since February. And I do not plan to go anywhere else!! Thank you Rochester, NY DoubleTree Team!!!!
