Kosher Deli's were plentiful when I was growing up in Westchester in the 1960's. They seem to have disappeared, like slicing Nova at the deli counter in Daitch Shopwell in Wykagyl.. However, the one has been around forever and has survived is Epsteins two Kosher Deli's on Central Avenue. The sour and half sour pickles are put on the table the minute you sit down and are plentiful!! The pastrami on rye is terrific, as well as everything I have ever eatten there... A friend of mine from NY that now lives in DE., must come here for her NY fix of matzoh ball soup and corned beef on rye, every time she visits! The food is always fresh and they great choices to go, behind their deli counter! It's a must, if you like good DELI!
