My daughter and I stayed due to the horse show at the fair, it was close by and not to much else was available at this level, the people were nice enough, I had a bit of trouble with the language accent seemed to be a family run business all from the same country. The room looked nice enough for what we needed but small and cramped. when I need to use my computer for the free wi fi there was only one free plug the rest had adapters in them full of other things plugged into them and not a grounded adapter. and after all that the wi fi did not work but a few seconds at a time. The beds for me were the worst so very hard felt like I slept on a board all night. The bathroom appeared to be ok outside the nonstop dripping of the tub and the rust stains from constant water flow, then I turned on the sink faucet and the water pressure was so great that it soaked the entire front of me from the explosion of spray, I thought well the shower should be good and powerful. There was no shortage of hot water if anything I had trouble adjusting it cool enough the trouble came trying to turn the water back off the hot water shut off stuck and I had to struggle with it for sometime before I was able to shut it off, I had the forethought to get out before I shut it off otherwise I would have been burned severely. We stayed two nights, we came back to our room after being at the fair from 8 till 2:30 and they were just getting to cleaning our room we were hot and tired from the horse show and could not go to our room by 2:30 ...there were not that many people staying there. Then the next morning we were woken at 5am by the alarm clock going off which the cleaning people must have turned on during their cleaning because it did not go off the first morning. one last thing in order to use the coffee maker you had to plug it into one of the adapters full of plugs behind the dresser the TV was on so you had to get down on your hands and knees and squeezes your hand behind the dresser to plug it in, when I got up off the floor my hands and legs were so covered in dirt and debris from the carpet there is no way that room has been vacuumed in quite some time at lest not properly. and when I went to check out not once was I asked about my stay, no eye contact made I was handed my receipt and dismissed, he turned and walked out of the area as if they know of the complaints and just don't even allow you the chance to voice them any more. you could stay here not have my bathroom (I don't know if they are all like this) not mind a really hard bed and be ok with your stay here, I would never come back nor would I recommend this to anyone I don't think its that old a building but it feels it. there is discarded or for unknown reasons furniture in the hallway the soda machine on the second floor was broken you had to climb around housekeeping equipment left in stairwells (no elevators ) and in halls. the side-door which is suppose to require a door key to enter is broken so anyone can enter.
I did not even attempt a shower the next morning we just wanted to get out and go home.
