We have been dining at Daniel's for years. This has become our favorite fine dining restaurant. The service is top notch. We are always seated promptly. The wine selection is excellent. My favorite appetizer is the scallops with pancetta. The salads are wonderful. The smoked trout salad is smoked on site. The fish is fresh and wonderfully prepared. I love the halibut with pink peppercorn sauce. The veal medallions with lobster and lobster sauce is out of this world! My husband and I have never had any dish that was not outstanding. The deserts range from a homemade ice cream trio, lemon torte, creme brûlée, molten chocolate cake to profiteroles. It's always a difficult decision. It is sad for us that Daniel's will be closing this fall. Daniel will be retiring. He is an amazing chef. We wish Daniel all the best and thank him for the all wonderful evenings we have had in his restaurant.
